Hi Lazarus , I am always so careful when doing the lichtenburg fractles coz as you said people have dyed messing around with it , have you seen the vid on YouTube where they do it to a piece of glass , it’s awesome they bombed the glass with negative ions first , but you need a science facility to do that which is a shame cupboard doors like it would take a kitchen to another level . Those things of yours are cool as . Cheers Mark

Orbs are so cool one thing that resin is ultra toxic so a better dust mask I have C O P D from spray painting when I left school and it’s not good I have some burs and interesting off cuts P M if you are interested in a deal wish I could use a lathe , but hey now I am recovering from a broken ankle maybe I could set mine up and just sit at it and have a go anybody got any wood turning chisels they don’t want I would give them a home , for a dust mask I have a Trend Airshield Pro best £200 spent . Take Care. Mark
  13. Hi John I would go for it , build the shelter and mill some stuff for yourself , if it turns out it’s not working for you sell the mill on they hold an ok resale price as long as you look after it , haven’t heard anyone say anything bad about the woodland mills , if I had the cash I would prob buy one , all the best Mark

  16. Hi Shaun wow that walk free is so cool could deform use one of those I could get back to doing some work they should totally be available from the hospital I know £150 isn't much but 2 months not working and a few more to come I just don't have the cash to buy one , such a shame I will give the occupational therapy people a call and see if they can help me.Will you walk ok after the fuse as my surgeon has said to me that either I will walk with a limp and it will ache or it will hurt like F##K and I will have to have my ankle fused what happened to you to have that done hope you mend quick don't push it though let it heal that's what everyone has been saying to me , and now we have snow and I can't go play in it Thanks for the heads up on the walk free All the best Mark
  17. Hi Forest I think you may be right as to start with the surgeon was going to give me a boot then says something about the type of work that I do and wanting to make sure I heal properly as I broke and dislocated my talus and apparently that doesn’t happen hardly ever the only one the Doc has ever done himself and he is the chief orthopaedic surgeon in Salisbury hospital apparently once you have dislocated something it can happen again quite easily if it’s not healed properly and there is no way I want that to happen, fed up though first deep snow in yrs and I can’t go play in it we have an ideal hill for sledging and I can’t go but hey on the mend was at my workshop on Tuesday only the 2nd time scinc my accident and managed some chainsaw work sat in my wheelchair cool as , so take care out there in this don’t want any of you to end up like me or worse Cheers Guys. Mark
  18. Hi Bill I can’t fault the hospital they have done a really good job of looking after me the funny feelings I keep getting are to be expected according to the team who put me back together have said not only did I dislocate my talus I broke it as well and if I have any worries I have the direct number for the fracture clinic so big thanks to the NHS we would be F###ED without them , thanks for all your concern.I went to my workshop yesterday and managed some chainsaw work sat in my wheelchair will post the photos when I get an chance Cheers Mark
  19. Hi guys just a quick update went to the hospital yesterday and saw the top surgeon who put me back together , he was going to give me one of those removable boots then bloody changed his mind and I am in plaster for another 4 f###ing weeks then a boot , loads of strange feelings in my foot ,numb, tingly, wet it’s very odd , but at least I can start to put some weight on my leg will keep you all informed as I mend thanks for all your kind words Cheers Mark
  20. 22. Hi there are a few things you could do , leave it for a few wks then take it in your house for another month or more if you can let it move then fill the cracks with resin, metal powder, glow in the dark powder , or incase the whole thing in resin or just live with it I bought that it would crack kin half what ever you decide it should look cool do post some pics when it's done.
