if you look back my posts you will find very little swearing this person niggled me at the wrong time which is why I posted what I did although I stand by what I said, on a normal day I would have moved on and ignored or come back at a later date to comment on it but I could say that would be a wrong decision also as this seems to be an issue bothering more than a few people it's more like a boil that needs lancing.

how about instead of comparing repairing your own equipment they start posting to your customers how to get the work done for free or 50% cheaper than you are charging, will you still have the live and let live attitude. as I said earlier when it comes to tree surgery being undercut there is plenty to be said about those doing it on this forum.

it's not possible to name them as could be construed as insulting and worth more infraction points but if you want to read some of the old posts you can find numerous cases of people being insulted and differing degrees of bad language.

no it's not, you clearly don't see it but you have formed or let form a small clique which get away with comments the rest of us don't

I have no objection to sharing information on processing maintenace etc but a feed designed to put people out of business it may be 1 person posting but how many reading it, logs have been very hard for several years now and this feed can only make it harder.

yes I know but the price you posted was less than buying a cube of cord at roadside you priced in labour diesel insurance etc but not for the cord to process £50 £60 per ton + the vat which is about 1.5m3 before you can even start to produce logs if it's to be a viable business.

you worry about newcomers how about those veterans who no longer post, always believed it was a trade forum for the benefit of businesses not for the public to end run around merchants and other trades that's what's going to kill your forum, who's going to provide any info that kills off their trade.

I already said I don't have a problem him doing his own logs he shouldn't be buying from trade sources, problem here is too many see logs as a waste product and don't give a hoot about undercutting log merchants but when someone talks about price cutting treesurgery then you see some drama on here it's double standards.

Hi Joy I try to make allowances for the fact it's 2d conversation the fact this guy went from harassing 1 guy to then posting something at me is trolling the fact this moderator doesn't agree or understand what trolling is doesn't change the fact it's a subjective topic the fact I opened this thread was because of his pm's saying the conversations which come across as harassment to me are fine majority not even directed at me I just happen to be reading them over several days. as I received one today for pointing out something clearly visible going on in a couple of threads which I won't repeat to keep people happy, just now wondering is the amount of abuse you can dish out at people before you get a warning dependant on how much you donate to the sites charity as some certainly have a lot more leeway than others.
