  3. the drum of Oregon chain oil I've got is very dark, but also very think too. have used other brands and always found Oregon to be the thickest of the lot.

  6. all this wet hot weather has brought them out, while out walking I've never seen so many fungi growing... ... I know nothing about them or what there called...
  7. for the sake of the extra 1.8lb in weight, get the 560 that has more power. I find it runs 4 bar sizes well for different uses. 13" & 15" is really fast for small felling and brashing out 18" & 20" for bigger felling and cross cutting
  8. how you finding the Sirius cord? my next rope will be blue tongue, I've just ordered some Sirius cord for foot locking, hope it works well. ian

  10. have a look at the natural England site, look at the general licence regarding wild birds that are pests, if you can justify removing them because of disease or public safety, maybe including the tree your working on, you are fully allowed to remove the species of bird on the general licence. ian

  20. I'd defo try a few harnesses before you buy one... I have the old sequoia and find it fine, guess it's what you get used to! what mm is the velocity rope?? the 11.7mm blue tongue seems to get good reviews on here for use with spiderjack, it's probably what I'll go for when I get saved up for some new kit. ian Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
