  3. I'm pretty sure you can get into a lot of trouble for making them high power spud guns, use oranges, they make a better seal
  4. just spat my tea out laughing at that....
  5. awesome...... balls of steel too.....
  6. I use Yale silver streak for prusiks and a large Sirius one for practicing foot locking, not had any problems with either what are you wanting to use it for and in what climbing set up??
  7. we burn loads of it, nice to split and burns well ian

  9. haha yes your right..... I'll have to try it on the boss next time I need to send on a new bit of kit!
  10. 250 or a 1/3 over budget is a big lump. hope it's a good saw for you, let us know how you get on with it
  11. be interesting to see, makes sense, more air in more air out = more power in theory. a ported 560 with 562 air filter on will be interesting to see! I work with a lad who has a 562, will have to pop the cover to see!

  14. great little vid mate.... awesome tree to climb
  15. I know a lot of the cross fit boys use them
  16. to use while chogging down sections? will be too much hassle! as it was suggested in your other thread.... Steel core flip line with rope and running bowline & prussik as a safety line, so if you slip it will bind and catch you. very easy to flip them both up and down together as you move on your spikes. ian
  17. signed for the good cause although I have no intention of using aspen as it's far too expensive for me. hope this helps others though ian
  18. then work a extra hour to cover your fuel and oil use for the day lol unless your in some big Corsican pine
  19. a small echo as they seem to be getting good reviews on here from folk. I'm a husky fan so would say husky... sure the stihl folks on here will say the same about stihl. buy the best you can afford that will suit your needs.
  20. don't think there is much difference is there? apart from high top air filter, double spikes and full wrap handle. is the engine and carb all the same as a 560 ??
  21. be lucky to survive that!
