I'd imagine welding strength is as good as the one doing the welding.

Not sure how it would make it any easier to find them if they were chipped, or if you can even chip an animal that will go into food chain.

A neighbour gave me a shot of their fan today to try on our boiler stove, I think it's an ecofan, cost them about £150, didn't have much hope really but it started spinning soon after being sat on stove without much of a fire going! Can't say what benefit it's had yet but it's spinning fairly quickly .

These sheep DO make that kind of money, you must have missed the breeding sales GN! I have seen a wee blackfaced ram lamb sell for £90,000, these guys are steering the breeds forward, the sheep they breed are very important to the farming nation in this country. Not sure why you'd belittle this theft!!

Although, with hindsight maybe the bbc are quite happy to let him struggle to give themselves news! Now that is a bit sadder( if that's a word) than someone struggling with the drink I'd say! "Let's invite him on and give him enough rope to hang himself" Is that too harsh on bbc?
