  9. yeah i get it, i was just saying depending on the job the mewp is quicke,r tree on floor in half the time and completed in half the time. and still able to charge the same rate as climbing. but maybe not on this job. we hire a mewp with operator for £275 and he help hold and throw. but i do get what you mean and all i was saying on our last job we quoted the same as crew that wanted to climb it, and we did it in half the time
  10. fair enough everyone has their own way of doing it. if the price is the same either way it your choice. just no roping of with a mewp, but hard to tell with out looking at the job.if your quick enough to climb and you have enough ground staff, frankie has a good and fair point

  13. not sure about that did that norwegian maple in 4hrs start to finish not including timber removal, but done in a day. never broke a sweat. hired 80ft mewp with operator. priced the job as if climbing and worked out the same price wise if not a bit better.
  14. if you order the pink chipper do you get matching village people outfits to operate it with, and is it compulsory

  24. sorry forgot to mention that. i normaly say im a tree surgeon requesting a line shut down. i contact scottish and southern this way, so whoever the main supplier is? hope this helps?
