  2. what a shame if fell to waste. All 3 of those species would make for fantastic firewood!! just a shame in general really great woodland.
  3. nothing wrong with pegs it your personal choice, sometime leave some,sometimes dont. They are handy when roping blocks of the same stem.

  12. the idea of putting it on the trailer is a good idea, guy locally has one on a ifor with rota grab, pretty jealous looks really handy
  13. i agree with stephen i own a transit great overloaded with chip, but wrestling wood with a hiab on the back might not be fun. plus your weight limit must be reduced

  23. cut a mostly hardwood on the forestry side of things, and firewood(logs) .325 on things like ms 260, like 3/8 better. but that my preference
