  1. Says Hull on the ad, all I remember is that he was from up norf!
  2. Can vouch for that one listed on ebay above, from the advert i dont thinks its had much use since i sold it less than a year ago. When i did it was near mint with only tie down marks to the paint and a perfect engine, its the 18hp electric start version. The trailer i bought as mentioned lets you use it without having to unstrap or take it off, unless you need to, i cut down the ramps to allow the hopper to open without lowering them. Im sure the guy who bought it was toying with tree work along side another business he had going and seems his packing in the tree work so its well worth a look.
  3. Not one of these beauties was it? High Side Plastic Transit Tipper Box With Lockable Side Lockers & Doors | eBay
  4. Ah speaking of my old machine! What are the odds of that! Nice to see the trailer is still in use also
  5. If you do the HB20 on 0% ill take one tomorrow
  6. Is the 0% finance offer on all your products or just this new range?
  7. Do you reckon that with every transit in the world put together it could be legally shifted? I dont! Stunning tree
  8. Payload mate. I do like the Iveco 4x4's, wonder what would be left to play with after the extra weight.
  9. Take your word for it. My concern was to the total tangle scenario, all been there.. but sure if it can be aimed well should no problem with making its way through
  10. What does it weigh unladen?
  11. Just Googled it and found this chaps video - Could put one together to work straight from the cube quite simply for a lot less money, would have to source/make a few selectively weighted dummies for it.
  12. Either way i want!
  13. Had the cs for a while and regret selling it tbh. But it funded a tow behind. As said great machines, blades must be sharp though. Paid for itself in a matter of weeks and took on some large takedowns.
  14. all the variants are dog training launchers, the one you quoted is a pull to fire one i believe this has a trigger. fancy one of these but looks like it could be pain with isolating lower than top branches on dense trees with regards to the large size of the projectile. looks like it would get stuck easier than a sawpod or simple bag.
  15. A light reduction would sort it out.
  16. they flap back onto the hopper quite well with a bungee to hold them back
  17. I would miss the toolbox to be honest, I have an older 150dbh with the tool box at the rear. Inside it has spare blades, every spanner and socket needed for the chipper, grease gun and spare grease etc. When we had the 230dbh I did look for an area to mount a small plastic tool locker, not much space left.
  18. Intended to update this before now. Many thanks to Ben for the lathe, collected it last weekend and was also kind enough to let me have a basic set of 7 tools to get me started. At this point I was feeling very cheeky so handed over a purple note, the least i could of done but all I had on me. bench space is at a premium in my small workshop so intending to put together a wooden stand to mount it on anchored to the floor and wall. Will start a new thread when done and im sure ill be asking lots of questions. Thanks again Ben, top man!
  19. Another vote for BF.
  20. Ive had two of them, both from different shops and both had issues with gas leaking. There was a story in the press this summer about the cans exploding and something about plastic fuel lines? But I agree cracking little things, just looking for an upgrade, these colemans are looking good Ill have a ganders on Amazon later and see what pops up
  21. Will have a look at the JetBoil. Think gas or unleaded would be better for those days when its pouring etc. Like the idea of using a pan on the top also, lunchtime fry up!
  22. Getting to that time of year again... Fancied a brew today while in the middle of nowhere, so...? Kelly? Ghillie ? Other? Or good old gas?
  23. I wish i never sold mine, handy little machines. I think the best bet would be a single castor wheel with a foot lock brake, like they have for the bread trolleys at the supermarket to stop them moving. I do see your point about loading with ramps though, mine was a small plant trailer and was always a balancing act to get it on with all the weight on two wheels using ramps.
  24. Very tidy Scott, like it
