  1. We have alot of the same damage on a site we work and it's our little grey furry friends running around the trees they love to eat.
  2. I stand by what I said about the climbing gear , I was working for them and wound'nt use it no matter how big they are they needed new climbing rope and harness, I had some great time's climbing tree's I never had before. And you do hear and see alot behind closed door's. I still talk to the old manager and have gone in and taking jobs form them , but that's life we all need to make a living.
  3. How many time's have you gone to hell and back then for cutting poor little trees ?
  4. You can chain up your bike now when your down at the shop.
  5. It still makes me sick to see this after 4 saws were taken from the van and never to be seen again after 5 years , it cost so much to buy in the first place and too do it all again. A list of details given to dealer and garda but not a thing back. What should we do put up a thread here with all details on stolen items to help each other ?
  6. Just thinking would you ever need a chain saw with that thing.
  7. I would hire her , image the work you'd get on building sites. P.S I'd give her a hard hat.
  8. To add there climbing kit was very out dated. harness and climbing rope.
  9. NO they have 2xMS T200 and all ground saw's , just was better to use my own climbing kit , like to know how much its been used and who use it.
  10. I've had it happen to me , I was putting down to been to hard on the cutting , it's not all my doing os.
  11. I'm still waitting on the saw shop to ring me back , chain brake on my 660 not working when saw has been running , O he said it look's very clean.

I worked for Barletts abit last year , got some good climbing time with them , money was'nt that bad just under a €100.00 a day the only thing I did'nt like was the ground staff were always giving out about everthing and everyone and we did'nt get paid for over time I did use my own climbing kit as there gear was'nt great.

  14. Thats some saw , I've got a MS660 dose it cost much to get the saw ported ?
  15. Best item for the job is me , did 5km of wire fenceing for the brother in law on the farm last year too keep the cows in loved every bit of it. You will need a post driver if the tractor is not knocking them it for ya. Post driver Hammer Wire cutters / wire pullers I think the one I used was a chain type. U Nails 2 people and a pole to roll the wire out.

  17. Get a very big dog , don't feed it and when they come calling he should be ready for a good feeding. Live wire to the door handle from the mains this shoud work.
  18. I like my toes so if I'm up a tree or on the ground my boots are always on , that is why there for. PPE all the way for me.
  19. On the news yesterday it's going up to €1.70 cent this week coming in Dublin. bike and trailer for me, leaving the chipper at home.
  20. I was trying all day , not getting any where ontill now , still dont know how I did it , but hay I'm in and that's all that matters right.
  21. Hi there , I've got CS30/31/32/33/34/38/39 safe pass , fork lift , first aid , manual handling. paid for and waiting to complete wood chipper and hoping to do CS40/41 this year. Would love to find full time work , but the money here (Dublin) is just so bad.
