  1. I can say that the pair I got from HB are great, Alum and carbon , don't even know there on the end of my legs on till I try and walk. U get what you pay for so save and get a good set.
  2. Try cutting the bar with the wheel on it in two then weld a solid bar inside one end ,leaving a stump about 4" long sticking out when you are letting the chipper down put the two end together , if working on soft ground make a 2nd leg use a flat plate welded to a bar and it wont sink in the ground.
  3. I've two pairs type A & C , if not in one I'm in the other , I let mine drip dry.
  4. So your wife put them in the drier , it x-mas soon so she can get you a new pair , put a saw to the old pair and post the findings and that way we will all know whats safe or not.

  6. Here is an up date on the beech tree about to fall and I found one more with a split in it.The tree has moved about 2" the wrong way , large branch holding it from falling has moved , sliding off , thinking of removing bottom branch so when it go's it will go over all the way making it safe.

  11. I've seen more and more people using MEWP , so I did the coures last week , scissor lift , boom and self drive battery and diesel , the wood cipper week before that , when work is not there I try and do training/courses.
  12. I hope his underwear was clean , mum always said but clean underwear on every day , you may end up go to hospital.
  13. That limb on the ground is holding the tree for now ( i think about 2 ton of it ) , just waitting to be told to cut it away and let the tree fall or spend the money and cut form a cherry picker . I would love to take it down to about 20ft and leave it and take the branch off on the right hand side just above the ground its go alot of weight in it.
