1. So why didn't you smash a window before you called it in?
2. If it is a minor B road you can contact sun traffic, lux or other TM company they will let you know if there is a suitable diversion that could be set up so that the road can be closed. This is not very expensive just sometimes time consuming as you need to speak to the local highways to request the closure. Alternatively the TM company would set up traffic management quite cheaply. If you have chapter 8 you can oversea it ant costs can be as little as 250-300 for a week or manned by them for about £180/day. All you would need to supply them is a Google image of your working area and they will do the rest.
3. Ok no problem I will be passing by at lunchtime or just before. Give us a call if you need any shifted. Cheers Carl
4. Hi Leo I could collect tomorrow afternoon/ Thursday if possible cheers Carl 07818018400 give us a ring if it's still ok to collect.
5. Hi Leo how much is there and where in montacute is it. Cheers Carl 07818018400
6. Will have a look. Getting a bit tired of gearbox probs on the Hondas even on the pro rollers. It does make me think about the tread over the last few days regarding day rates for a grounds maintenance crew compared to that of a surgeons team. I know training comes into it but you can get through a lot on repair bills with even just a few pedestrian mowers!
7. I have a dozen Hondas ranging from the 537 hrx, 536hrh, 535hrd, all good mowers. Engine and deck should never let you down. However the drives go for a pastime and are very expensive to fix. Had a few gearboxes on them apart and they are fairly simple so can be fixed yourself. Etesia 51 with Kawasaki engine are also very good and cut well in the wet.
8. Fell or dismantle if it can be done in a day do it for 700 everyone happy surely.
9. Hi Brinnes were abouts are you based. Would it be possible to see it working. Cheers Carl
10. How much is there. Is it anywhere near pinhoe. Cheers Carl. Don't suppose it's up curlew way?
11. That looks great Alun. Is that your own milled timber and is it finished with any treatment at all. Cheers Carl
12. Do you sell it rough sawn or finished and you able to give me some costs inc delivery to somerset cheers Carl
13. Used lots of balau, Ipe and Iroko in past but it is getting very expensive. Looking to use oak or similar. None of these were slippery, so I guess oak would be fine.
14. Hi, I am interested to know if anyone on here supplies any hardwoods suitable for decking. I have a showhome to install in a few weeks and I am looking for something a bit different. Cheers Carl
15.
Great thanks for letting me know

16.
Hi Steve not sure want happened but bought ten raffle tickets and had to register with the child trust site in my own name not as in my avatar. There was no option to put this in. Is that a problem come draw time thanks Carl

17. Off course!! but from experience of having them sat in the yard for a season or containerised for planting the following it is always apparent that the wire has rusted away and the hessian rotted. It is far better IMO that the root ball is not disturbed at all as this can damage any fibrous root that is crucial for the tree to establish. I do think that the picture shown has little or no fibrous root and does not look like it has every been undercut/ root pruned in the time it has been growing in the field.
18. Don't disregard the nissan till you have tried one. I have had mine for family of five for last two years. Better value than the disco and has plenty of space. Bought an 06 two years ago on 40000 miles for £9000 far cheaper than the landcruiser and disco option. Had no problems at all with:thumbup:
19. I have never touched the root ball, the wire rusts away in a season along with the hessian.
20. Your not supposed to remove the wire and hessian it will breakdown over time. As long as there is some fibrous root within the rootball the tree should be fine.
21. What's his number got a small walnut coming down next week in Ilminster.
