  7. Hi all, Like the title suggests, ive just purchased a new pair of these, now ive put them along side my current boots, they look huge! And feel alot heavier..they also fit alot higher up the leg compared to my haix golds, What i would like to know is.. What are these beasts like to climb in? Im reluctant to give them a try and then not be able to return them... And if your wondering why i purchased these in the first place... Its because they came top of the poll on here... Many thanks
  8. Thanks if thats your idea of hot, you must get the guts ache often lol

  11. With regards to running back from the chipper.... I wouldnt be happy with my employer if they expected me to run back. If im the groundie for the day, i do however run back from the chipper, but because i choose to, mainly to check on how the the climber is, cant help it, just habit, Even take a glance up at the tree inbetween each clump of chipping if they are in view,

  17. About 3 years, doesnt always happen, but really annoys me when it does lol
  18. Hi all, Am i the only one that gets myself in the following situations?? -trying to climb higher only to find you are halted by your foot standing on the tail of your strop/rope? so your forced to drop back -climbing using both ends of rope (not often) only to find the slack loops under a low lateral....hows the hell does it get there!!! -or forgetting to clip your saw up short, so you later find the bugger gets stuck in a fork when you try to move.... Must be having a bad couple of weeks lol
  19. A week or so ago i took the plunge and went out and purchased a 150, must say, im very impressed with it, as others have said before, perfect for small prunes and re pollarding 4-5 year growth. Its lovely and light, dont really notice it on me, easy to start....love it.. Also, dont know if its just me... But when clicking on a chainbreak on a 200, it feels like some power is held in the saw even when your fingers off trigger, but with the 150, it feels like the power is released elsewhere as if to not put stress on the saw, hard to explain what i mean, but its clear in my head.... Lol sounds and feels like the excess power is allowed to release gently...whereas the 200 is stopped abruptly... Overall.... Love it
  20. tell you summin for nothing.... The man knows a decent chipper
  21. i purchased a pair of the golds over a year ago, very comfy and are holding up very well, considering i drag and kick my feet through heavy bracken and bramble on some sites, i do use moisture cream and dubbin on them every 4 weeks tho or after a wet spell, and only just starting to part the toe cap from the sole, im very happy, i think they will last the rest of the year (touchin my wooden noggin) my mate bought a pair just after me and had to get them exhanged within 2 months i think it was after the sole was coming away from the back of the boot, but good old f R jones sorted him out, his new pair have now lasted a year to date andnare looking good Think you gotta take some care on ya booties
  22. lol, i think i would pay to see his/her dog use one thanks for the info, think they look great little saws, is it normal to get excited over a chainsaw? Lol
  23. Hi all, Looking to buy a little ms 150 next week, been comparing the technical data on stihls website, and it looks to have more vibration than a 201 or ground saw, Can anyone agree with this, or are the numbers shown too smaller difference to notice when being used? Cheers
  24. These are fantastic, would like to find a rc plane, porn would be a brucie lol
  25. wow, he had that all figured out didnt he!
