  1. Sharpened the usuall array of hedge cutters, mower blades today. Also got the parts for humpty today aswell. Now running nice again. No exhaust mod this time tho. And all clear for the weekend. Machine driving this weekend. Loading one end and clearing the other of a concrete crusher. So my backside will be planted on a 360 for two days doing over 12 hour shifts. Got to love big machines. Picks will follow.
  2. Soinds a little bit dodgy to me. Why not get a pro in.... Is there a tpo on it and a pro won't touch it? Sorry just sounds like he is tight or there is a reason why the tree is still there with the building......
  3. If you need any help at all dan let me know. Always mull things over a pint.
  4. So that's why the saws never work for me.... I did start to wounder why I am having to weld extra bits on to make from for the gap...
  5. Oh. Have we just stumbled on husky s top secret glass cutting chainsaw.....
  6. Or the box the coil comes in when fitting a new one.
  7. Or they closed the road off as a big black unattended bag was seen on the street outside a shop. Probably in a thousand bits by now. Thanks to the bomb squad.:lol:
  8. Love it. Typical tho. Sitting on your backside drinking.:lol:
  9. Oh well now you make sense, so it the bit the fuse goes in to blow it to pieces so its no longer a danger to anyone,... Got ya :thumbup1:
  10. Sorry but those two chippers are worse than anything else. 1. They are scared of them so not putting as much in as you would. 2. I would rather have a slower chipper and be able to stack a few branches on the table before feeding them in, knowing that its not going to smack me on the head and try and drag me in if I'm "quick" enough to get out the way. 3. These make work harder as you have to throw it in rather than pass it in and step back. Absolute crap if you ask me.
  11. Could be, but I rekon they are there for meat rather than breeding.
  12. Is that the bit that when they put neat petrol in it doesn't seize or something......where is spud when you need him??
  13. WTF is plasma chemical thingy me jig????
  14. Now I thought that, but, this is adjustable for any size log. So those that don't fit in a tyre or are too small for one.? Just my thought. Looks a lot easier as you can pick the whole log back up after chopping and add it to a stack like he does. It looks handy IMO. Or a set of bungee straps. Only thing I would worry about is the axe going in too deep and hitting the chain putting a nick in the nice sharp blade.
  15. Could put it under advertising, wink wink.
  16. That's why I made the offer. :001_tt2::lol::lol:
  17.:lol: Don't think so bud better luck next time. Will give you a bottle of stihl mixing oil for a cap. They go on ebay for a tenner empty..
  18. Will have to be second in line bud. Got someone (not on here) already asked me about a pole hedge cutter a while ago. He is looking at some point. No other attachment just the hedge cutter. The other attachments are staying with the owner as he got a whole load of new kit and let me have the older stuff. It's a "legal" story. It sounds dodgy I know, only having the hedge cutter bit but its not. Story is this guy got given a load of kit from his mate who moved out of his country home into a town house so had no need for the kit. So this guy got given a ride on mower with all sorts of bits, snow plough, roller etc. Also got, ms181, stihl leaf blower/vac, sawhorse that holds the saw, combi tool with attachments, and some stihl two stroke bottles and a load of chan oil. Some people are just pure jammy.
  19. I got given a stihl combi engine and hedgcutter attachment. In good nick and works very well. Needs a sharpen and clean. Km something or other. And a ryobi leaf blower. Has an inch of dust on it, been used once and sat in barn for years. A good clean and check and check and its all good. Must be Xmas.
  20. Looks different to other models. The top on the ones I've seen doesn't have a black screw holding it down and is more square, But I'm no husky expert.
  21. Tree quip is right. It's a bullock. One thing that is missing in the pictures...... The big BBQ.
  22. Where to start..... How are you adjusting the carb. Is there a sponge type filter behind the air filter under the inlet port. Is the comp good. Is the plug a good colour.
  23. Here is the thread I started asking the same question. Petzl will fit one for you if you send it off to them if yours is broken or worn. But you can't buy them individually for yourself. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/climbers-talk/54712-looking-ring.html
