  1. Erm. No its not really cost effective as the 200 rear handle is like rocking horse poo. The rear handle is part of the carb housing so it would be removed, the air filter is different, the throttle assembly is different. So is the off switch. To be fair if you had the complete handle assembly it would swap over, but then having the assembly and buying it from a dealer are two different things. Would probably work out cheaper with time and effort to just buy a 201 rear handle. Oh and the tank housing is different. Not the fuel tank but the housing, and the fuel tank is part of the housing.
  2. Do you tick the box on the login bit that says stay logged in or remember me?
  3. It would have to be green or orange. As greenmech or stihl. Just seen this post so will pm aswell. Let me know what I will owe you
  4. Oh and this http://www.tillotson.ie/docs/techinfo_HL_EUR.pdf But could just look here I suppose Tillotson
  5. Try this [ame=http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8nqYwDMK3_w]Tillotson Carburetor Repair & Maintenance - YouTube[/ame] And this http://www.tillotson.ie/docs/techinfo_HL_US.pdf
  6. Yes it would. Causing the saw to rev high. And eventually seizing it. A rich mixture would indicate not enough air in or too much fuel. This could be a meter arm height problem or blocked air filter.
  7. Wish I had jumped on this thread sooner. Saw it but didn't view it. Thought it would be full of bang tidy women...... Ok first off stihl 880, just a pure bread monster. Should be built with a kick start rather than pull. Or a starter motor... But this has been sorted. Next is chipper. The cm220 9 inch and even tho it comes in at 1.3t the 75hp Isuzu engine just means in munches it way through anything you out in it. The extra weight is easily made up for in power. Also wouldn't be hard to machine feed it either. Plus it will throw the chip easily into a long tipper trailer (done it) Used one for the past 2-3 yrs and I have struggled to get the stress control to even kick in, managed it on some big (7-8inch) connie about 10ft long, but it didn't kick in for long, didn't even judder it in, just sped up and carried on. Plus the six round blades mean they just get turned rather than removed and replaced, less down time waiting for sharpen if no spare set. Well easily run a season out of hard work. Nice thread Paul. And chris can I ask where you got the bang tidy sticker from as I would love one on my landy.
  8. T:lol::lol: It wouldn't but it would explain why the drum not going on. The cutting out could be many things. Like carb issue. The impulse line do have a tendency to go on these. Is the carb adjusted to factory, and does it make a difference if adjusted. Also what is the plug colour?
  9. Ok. Is the line or notch in the drum lining up with the oil pump drive gear arm? Should be able to see it? Its behind the clutch. Can run a piece of stiff wire around the clutch and it should push the arm round so you can line them up?
  10. Machines make everything easier. If you have the right driver. Shame a lot of people still get stuck trying to do jobs the hard way and wounder why it takes too long.
  11. It was a close call. But my jcb was 5 ton heavier than the daewoo. So I won by default. I was a very close quarters job, still is. We did have the buckets "kiss" a couple of times. Its nice when something different comes along and I'm not too busy to turn it down.
  12. Mines still on the certificate. Because I get asked to show it soooo many times.
  13. Today's job and for the next three days. Nice to get something different every now and again:thumbup1:
  14. Trying to advertise something or other. Or just hacked accounts sending out porn links, or someone even trying to get some scam business going by reeling in dumb people.... It doesn't last very long on this forum. But I would like some to hang around a little bit longer as some of the replies they get from members are a real laugh. Edit. That second bit just sound like the favourite girls thread......
  15. Pay that's just a scratch. What you doing in a and e for???? Looks like the cans of man up need to come out with you lot....
  16. Is that all. 50quid doesn't sound bad to me. At least it was your truck and to someone else's...... Sorry bright side.
  17. Google will help me. Kukri knife, that's the one, (Sorry rob) :001_tt2:
  18. Silky strikes again. Its a rule bit like a Gurkhas knife (don't know how to spell it) but its not allowed to come out unless it draws blood.
  19. Yep I guess a new crank case is in order aswell. Might be cheaper to just buy a new saw. Or a second hand one and save what you can off this one for parts?.
  20. Bit of jb weld and it will be good to go, Said the small end had gone, Nice and easy fix then, new pot and piston. A few tests. Looks like the pot had split. Could be an imperfection on it.
  21. Yeah like the ryobi I had with the knackerd oil pump.... Couldn't believe that went ahead. The trouble is parts if you can find them are usually cheap. Its the fitting that costs.
  22. :001_tt2: Might change my name to randys repair uk.:lol: I'm getting used to this sort of kit arriving now.
  23. The driver looked a bit tasty... Why couldn't they zoom in on her some more??
