  1. Someones got some fancy new photo software,:lol:
  2. Hmm. Something is getting hot and sticking. Just the stop that means it has time to tighten up and seize, if you Carried on would it keep going for the entire day or not. I really would think a bearing is getting hot, then the stop is allowing it seize up and get tight, but once it cools for a bit it frees up. Maybe gardenkit can help a it on this.
  3. Good looking site that. Have just noticed the bird sitting down in the pic with the tall mushrooms. Looks like a music festival..... Very tasty if I do say so.
  4. Now why is it every pics you put up ends in a brewery or public house?????
  5. I hear the arbikini is very well made and keeps you cool with an all round tan aswell.
  6. Got a make or model and some pics please. I was going to say belts and bearings but if they are new and have been checked then I'm unsure really without seeing it. Are you sure the main pulley is ok and the tensioner pulley is ok. Sounds like the belts maybe slipping all the time of it went through two new ones.
  7. Started on the ms200t (humpty dumpty) Stripped her down a bit and started the rebuild service. Re drilled and tapped the holes for the fuel tank housing as the old bolts wouldn't go tight. To re tapped for the m8 bolts instead. Recoil started but needs new spring as the old one was lost. Also needing a new exhaust, these as far is I can tell are the only needed parts as the rest are there. A good note to others, never leave a saw where it could get run over.......
  8. Busy busy busy.... Ms170 done. Mantis rotovator done. Two electric chainsaws done. One husky cut off saw done. Other one in bits for spares. Two strimmers done. Barrie, that gearbox had a small thread on it. He a panic moment when I fitted it, but found some that where the right size. Now its the crushed 200t to look at, and a makita cut off saw that needs new piston and pot.
  9. Someone was asking about clam shell engines a short while ago. Below is an ms170, good example. The whole engine comes out in one only held by four screws that are on the underneath of the saw. So a "normal" type engine will come out with the bottom part of the crank case being part of the saw case.
  10. Yep. I can see why that sells very well in the USA bud. Wounder if it has any applications for the uk other than sprinkler systems..?
  11. I have slowly given up on the four mix engines. Worst design ever. Better of with a good two stroke. Still have one on bits that I just can't get to the bottom of. The only good thing about them is they have more torque than a two stroke, so are perfect for long reach pole saws. And big strimmers. My advice is save yourself some aggro and get a big two stroke on the pole.
  12. Yeah safe journey home ted. Was excellent to meet you. And thank you for the candy. And also for the chance to try on the harness. Is an excellent bit of kit. Also interesting to hear what else you do aswell. Got any pics of the sprinkler stuff?
  13. I have got one stupidly busy day tomoz. Ms200t, cut off saws coming out my ears, ms170, two electric saws dropped in for sharpen and check over, a mantis rotovator that hasn't been used in a year, wants it going and a gearbox to fit on a strimmer, thanks gardenkit for that. Again super fast delivery. Plenty to do. The cut off saws are the ones I'm not looking forward to. So might just crack on with them first. Tries the makita one earlier,, what a stupid pig of a design that is. Anyway getting fuel and a very good spark but not firing. So comp test, but I can feel already its not good.
  14. Yep. They are the same. Weighed and all. Only difference is what size bar you use.
  15. Shane you rolled your chipper and had a crap day. Get over it. Fix it and move on. One comment about how good greenmech are and you are all in on ranting about people's views..... So I think greenmech are good. Point proved by it being rolled and able to still work after....
  16. Yeah one for greenmech.... Let's see a small TW do the same. Lucky escape. Why I love greenmech.
  17. Has it got plenty of oil in the tank?
  18. Dan. There is all sorts of flavours. Go on m and ms us website. Try this. M&M'S Official Website | Home
  19. It must be attracted to me. Come outside and they all follow me....... WHY ME. Why is it when you want the pager to go off it never does.... Ted. I'm not sure as I'm nearly at the end of one bag already. Need to take it very easy and ration them a bit more..... The container might get held up at customs......
  20. Nope not viewable on the iPad either. Using safari.
  21. A Freudian slip, also called parapraxis, is an error in speech, memory, or physical action that is interpreted as occurring due to the interference of an unconscious ("dynamically repressed") subdued wish, conflict, or train of thought guided by the super-ego and the rules of correct behaviour. They reveal a "source outside the speech". The concept is thus part of classical psychoanalysis. Slips of the tongue and the pen are the classical parapraxes, but psychoanalytic theory also embraces such phenomena as misreadings, mishearings, temporary forgettings, and the mislaying and losing of objects. Wow. I had to google that. My head hurts too much. That's a big word for a simple tech/lifeboat man. We are simple folk we are.
  22. Think I'm going back to work. I've come home from what was a quiet workshop to a house that has, 3 kids, two babies, three women, one of witch is pregnant. My head is killing me. Out in the garden now. Think I will stay here until they all go home. Rang over back to chainsaws...
  23. The Mikita is for a service. The stihl is for a if I can get it running as it just s topped one day. The husky sas I'm looking at the dogs as one is missing one. The 200t wouldn't start, don't know about this one as it started fine for me. Owner took it back there and then. The two partner/husky cut off saws are there as one has a broken casing where it was dropped, so a good one from the two. The two 170s are for a chop and change. Most are been looked at and started to be sorted. This one is a late drop off just now, a climbers saw that took a tumble, nick naming this one humpty as it may take all the kings men to get it back together again, Blooming climbers. It was also run over by a tracked barrow.
  24. This mornings influx of tools from one customer.
