A huge breeze block on wheels + a sudden heavy gust of wind+ small light trailer+ light towing vehicle = a very messy accident.... I wouldn't.

Oh that brings back memory's. Think it was a 026 tho. That was one crane canyon of scores. Still fixed easily enough and still running strong. My bench is currently empty until next week when a stihl blower gets dropped off and three hedge cutters come in. Oh and the dreaded 250 arrives aswell. I've been offered a lot of tool stuff aswell. Not sure what I'm going to do with it all. A huge tool storage cupboard full of odds and sods. And a few other bits and pieces. Just got no room for it all. Will have to start construction on the shed soon.

Ok piston stop the engine and undo the carrier from centre nut.

Doing gardenkits idea is best. Use a piston stop or pull cord in the cylinder will stop engine moving. With the cord ensure piston is up near the top or you risk trapping cord in rings. Then undo the centre bolt.

You need to put up pic. The carrier is behind the clutch a so no need to remove this. Sorry bud but really need a pic.

Not overly sure. Had a saw once that kept moving as soon as it wa sput back together. Changed it for a new one and it was all good. Not sure about the accelerator pump on this saw either, this could cause an issue like the 200t one.

Should be flush with the carb body. If its too high it may be your problem. With the ruler accross it it should just touch it. Not move it.

Tonight's shout. Person reported to be cut off by tide. Turns out he was happy fishing off the rocks. Home now in time for tea. First shout this month. It's been too quite this year. Only a total of 7 shouts since Xmas. Come on yacht people do something silly already Don't really mean that bit. Just gets a bit tedious training all the time and not actually doing anything.

It will never happen. The saw is safe as long as the user is trained, I do hope they are not trying to ban them. Would be a great shame. Better start storing up some bits for them. -
No problem Andy. By the way I love the mod and the noise is just music to my ears. The mod looks much much more impressive in person than in the picture. Nice to know its running sweet. Was a lovely saw and has plenty of power.

Ok so I have to agree with you now about the husky (urgh my guts churn at typing that word ) The 260 or the 254 are perfect for what you want and the money spent will be worth it knowing the saw will run when you want it to.

Fitted the pot and piston morning. Nice tidy pot. Psi was 180 at fitting so running it up a bit and doing another test. Removed the edge with emery before fitting but the beveled edges where fine so left them. If it aint broke and all that. Saw running like a dream aswell.

I've been bitten plenty of times by them. They do hurt but I have just learned to ignore them I guess. I ft hey going to get you there's not much you can do about it. I don't have any protection as I have learnt that nothing actually works, after bite is ok for later. Soothes the bite a bit.
