  3. really good thanks, its so ideal for the job I do as in most cases I dont take the chippings with me. it has the kholer engine, it runs lovely. im surprised by the power, personally I think it must be running more than 13bhp- seems alot more powerfull!

  5. I took it a bit steadier on the way back to sunny lincolnshire, didn't want it to clatter more than necessary in the back of the van. Any remaining cobwebs will be blown clear when I strike it up for a conifer I'm straight landing tomorrow... roll on monday whoop! Thanks for a Good deal on the machine Jon, top man.
  6. im really enjoying this program at the moment. This reminds me of all the interesting things to do with the timber industry that got me interested in making a career of it when I was in my teens.

  12. anyone got one of these beasts for sale please?? Its the compact barrow chipper im after.... ive been looking for a while as I used to use one when I worked for my old gaffa and I thought they were great machines. bit hard to find, maybe a fellow Arbtalker can part with theirs for the right £££, hope so anyhow....
  13. theres a guy out near me and I see him nearly every day with a full trailer load of logs out on a delivery- so in my opinion theres still plenty of scope for firewood. unless he drives around with a full load regually just for advertising.... just a thought!

I was on a job for a chap last year with my brother and later in the day my bro came jogging over to me looking dead shocked said to me the customer has just given me a Honda, and I said 'what, a lawn mower?!' and he said no, a 1988 honda cb350. I was like you jammy git, your on my job and you get given a bike?! honest, this things in mint condition, must be worth a grand. jammy bugger!
  19. had to take down one of my customers ash trees, it was around a 10-12 years old. just lost all its leaves sudddenly in june and didn't recover....
