Just got a new 441 after running a 044 for 8 year + brilllll saw hope the new one is as good. Used for large and medium stuff on an 18" and 24" bar with no problems

got rained off this morning due to the no of roads closed and a few abandoned cars so lost a days wages or part of then came home went on evil bay seen a saw phoned the shop and now £600 lighter one i will have to hide from the wife or say its for someone els looking forward to getting the new 441 the old 044 getting on a bit better days to come i hope

Well is it worth investing more cash into building a shelter Or buying a splitter olso bit busy working els ware for to spend a lot Of time on something that may not be too fruitful especially when there May be plenty of full time suppliers around

Hi just want to know how many there are been given a chance to set up with a site to use or sell the timber mainly hard wood for firewood i'm not getting paid to remove the trees but can use the land for a storage or burn/chip area want to work out if its worth the time and effort

I've been working in forestry for 28 years or more done just about every job to do but you could not beat clear fell or thinning by hand now working for the guy I started with and he is still going strong a bit slower getting up the hill but can still do a days work we don't get to much large stuff any more usually what the harvester can't reach got a few lads going for chainsaw courses soon and mayby macke some cutters out of them

The 241 is about £30 -40 cheaper than a 261 looks and feels the same slightly lighter Good power the boss got one after the 261 died
