  1. I hope this is not going to become a problem like it has on the horse chestnut . There is a row of horse chestnut here and at the moment they look fine but given a while all the leafs will going the same way. Some have been removed but I don't no how much longer the others have or if they can continue with this.
  2. The information I found said they like silver birch and there was some trees about, but the thing that threw me was the time of year to be seen but with the seasons not as they should be I think its got confused!
  3. Came across this the other day just looked it up and I think it's the larvae of the rare goat moth. I reckon it was about 3" long. I have never seen one before

  5. I agree but alas I can't see the clocks going back.
  6. I think people should use the term best practice rather than legall or ilegall because I'am sure your not going to prison for not always using everything by the book. Health and safety has done a lot of research and no doubt is a necessary thing in the industry especially when employing staff but if your working on your own surely it's down to common sense. Just my point of view though.
  7. I had some on a navara can't remember the exact mileage but they spent most of the time off road
  8. Looked online, I will do next week but first the wipers are playing up, got someone coming out Tuesday to have a look at them if not to expensive hopefully put order in next week

  10. Another eccentric gentleman whilst out shooting with his purdey would stand on his peg tapping his barrels with a garden hoe to help the beaters

Worked on an estate a lot of years ago and the cheoufur was told to fill the car up with petrol which he did untill it cut out at which point he started to take the nozzel out only to be told it's not full so he squeezed the trigger and petrol went all over the floor, it's full now he was told.
  12. Yes, expensive but good tyres and are good for 20,000 miles

  17. I wonder how much their no on line sales has cost the company, and I don't suppose their change in policy has any thing to do with a loss. You can see some restrictions on sales for saws to joe public May be justified but sales of a tshirt with sthil on it was always going to hurt sales surely . Sense has to prevale .
  18. Injoying the series so Far. Month don is a good presenter

  21. Yes a good strong mower, when I have used it it would take a lot to slow it down
