It's all done now but i did look at the oil pick up pipe and it was all good👍 new sump water pump timming belt

Lol it's not mine it's my bosses it's his money pit I'm just the tube that works on it

The sump was corroded this is a bad Hilux, in the year boss man has had it it's had..new rear springs air con pump power steering pipes exhaust 4 tyres front brakes plus I'm changing the timming belt and water pump:thumbup1:

Tryed lifting it up of the mounts- no use:thumbdown: only lifted it up an inch and a half gearbox holding it down. And it's an automatic as well, cooler pipes run along the o/s of the engine to the front and into the radiator. So I've got it in this state

Anyone had any experience of changing the sump on a Hilux? I'm in the middle doing one... Its a 3.0ltr diesel 2008.. Just wondering how you or how much it cost to get done? The one I'm on is my bosses so it's not really costing him as he owns the garage 👎

I've got something like the first picture an old dude gave me it along with a little axe, the axe is newish but the other thing looks old will need to check it out👍

10-40 fully and add a forte clean and protect, the clean is a flush you run before you change the oil and the protect is an additive you add to the fresh oil 👍
