  1. If you where going to build a saw what saw and why? I'm going to do it:blushing: I'm not planning buy all the parts in 1 go maybe every week purchase a few parts and just add the bits as I get them...or even buy a non runner (not a 251:001_rolleyes:) as a donner saw, something that all parts are available.....
  2. Yeah but I saw it on eBay and have saved the messages I have from him 👍
  3. I usually check they work with a power probe
  4. Depends on what type it is, take it off and clean it with brake cleaner and make sure it moves freely, some are electronicly controlled
  5. Me too..sticks wtf? Was meant to say stinks 😷
  6. Hahaha he should of gave me a 100 notes to take the saw then:001_rolleyes:
  7. Had the same problem on transits and mondeos! One customer compliant was "When I'm sitting at traffic light people think I want a race because it revs it's self up" it was holding a steady 3000rpm 😂 at junctions and lights
  8. Now my attitude sticks 😂😂😂
  9. I know it's a risk you take, my thinking behind it was it's not that old claims it's been used once, but when I checked it over when I got the bar is worn heavy on one side, chain is blunt and really fine dust in and around the whole saw, the pull cord it's worn and frayed. I've had a lot older saws in better nick The think that's getting me is another few quid would of got me a brand new 1!
  10. Got a feeling I'm going to be stuck with this feckin saw!!
  11. New pedal and try strip and clean the EGR valve 👍
  12. Would really like a new job doing anything! For the past few months it's been really getting to me, fed up getting taken for granted, fed up arguing about faulty equipment in the work place.. This is more of a rant I know Good luck to others and I hope use have a great new year
  13. I need something like this don't know how much longer I will be in my current job!
  14. Get a diagnostic done on it might be something daft
  15. If the abs was working it would not skid....
  16. If you get the fault code c1095 it's a new abs pump:001_rolleyes: checked 1 out today 👍
  17. I've got 3 scanners that will plug into that:biggrin: it's it's the abs light then it's either a broken wire or the abs module and there only about a £1000:thumbup: Good luck
