I will have a thread but I was thinking something a bit more modern I'm after a stihl pro saw or a husky.. Don't want anything with a belly pan type thing that hold the crank together if you know what I mean:confused1: Went into the shed today and pulled out my ms171 and it was sitting in a puddle of chain oil 👎 so a think it will be going as spares or repairs

Noooooo hahaha just brake them and you will get new 1s that's what my rep tells me, I get tools replaced if the chrome starts to chip/flacks off The other mechanics in work buy other tools but as you say each to their own, just a snob I suppos

A few years ago on New Years day our council phoned our club house saying 1 of your trees has came over through your wall onto the road will need to be cleared ASAP and if we didn't do anything about it they would clear it and just bill us for it..... And an hour later it was cleared and someone aperred just to make sure it was done! On New Years day👎 -

Hopefully have my workshop/cave done for March. Still digging out the garden need to get it all level, buy a mixer for its base and remember to bury n armour cable to it from the house..... Could be March next year

I have old cheap sockets in the bottom of my box for bearings plus I have set of round plates for bearings and seals... I hate people near my box or even in it! It's my box I paid for it and i don't borrow your tools:biggrin: they soon get the message Al give use a tour of it when I'm back at work😜 hopefully all my tools will be home soon!!

I bought 171 0f ebay as spares or repairs had a hole in the oil tank and it came with a new tank bought and delivered for less than a 100quid and took less than an hour to swap over

That's what I'm after:thumbup1: I work on cars/light vans all day others who don't prefer to work on cars at night and weekends as a kinda hobby, I have other hobbies but when the weathers pants I want something else to do plus Ive just started build a man cave but that's ano project....
