  1. The only sure fired way is if the seller has the original bill of sale and the serial numbers correspond .
  2. Forestry hand cutter . Used to fell everything by hand in the old ( my ) days . Now most stuff is felled by harvesters leaving hand cutters on steep banks ( were harvester cant get ) or felling over sized in front of harvester , first thinnings , re spacing and general snot clearance. Most had cutters have got shot backs and knees .

    Aspen fuels

I think Redline exceeds the Husky oil in spec . TDC would confirm this .
  4. Is that a reference to Twickenham ? or am I missing someting in my old age ?
  5. I'm on it as per . Fat balls , mixed seed , sun flower hearts and niger seed. Love to see the Gold finches .

    Aspen fuels

I mix Aspen 4 with Redline 2t racing oil but only because I had quite a bit of Red line left when I switched to Aspen .
  7. As long as the oil pump is still turning I cant see how it makes any difference . Letting it tick over is not cooling it down , its keeping it warm and wasting fuel . Do you leave your truck / car ticking over for a few mins when you get home ?
  8. Maybe the dealer you work for would consider stocking it ?
  9. Upmost respect for Reg . Never met him but he makes perfect sense to me .
  10. You have never fallen up the ladder then ? Not nice I can tell you ....
  11. " Consistently accidental " ....Love it Reg

    Burning ash wood

When was it cut and split and was it green when it was felled or was it dead standing ?.......Or is this a wind up ?

    Trousers

I have 3 pairs also . I will be dead before they wear out

    Trousers

I have tried all sorts in my time from the " pair of sleeping bags " round your legs up to the modern ones . Always seem to come back to Pfanners . Pay a little more but I think its worth it .
  17. It contains NO ethanol and it is the fuel that Husqvarna test all thier saws with at the factory . They also recommend it strangely enough . I know it should not matter but any warranty issues can not be blamed on " bad mix " if you use Aspen .
  18. No I don't think so .. High octane fuel needs extra hi compression to benefit . It actually burns slower than lower octane . I would run it on Aspen .
  19. Reg , I am sure , will continue to do what Reg does . Mark can do what he does and everyone else can do what they are comfortable with . Its no biggie surely ? ( Just for the record I'm with Reg )
  20. Is 18T the actual weight of the truck or the back axle rating ?
  21. Used to be done around here every 6 years or so along with dray poking .
