  1. Good morning troops . -3c no snow as yet .
  2. Well yes . Exactly , but people are getting all scientific about it and its bollox innit ?
  3. Say you will take your gum down if he takes his down . 😄
  4. Once the stove top fans reach the same temperature of the stove body ( 10-15 mins ) then you don't loose anything . They are effectively part of the stove body . They cost nothing to run .
  5. Clutch plays no part in stopping a chain with your finger on the trigger . The ballistic material snags on the chain and jams the powerhead sprocket . This all in a nano second .
  6. Ok .
  7. Thats like saying a Sierra Cosworth is just a Sierra .
  8. Good morning troops . Chilly one out there .
  9. The stump police will be after you with hose heights ! 😁
  10. Oh . I did not realise they had no clutch . Its the ballistic material wrapping round the power head sprocket that does the stopping though .

  19. Yep . Used to listen on a bakalite radio when I was a kid . I loved the names of the grounds . Viking , Cromity Dogger bank etc etc. Rising slowly , good 🙂

  21. Yea you can feel the trees are in braille .
  22. Happy Saturday troops . Another hard frost . Not going above 3c all day then pissing down this evening .
  23. In a book by Steve Houghton . The British Sniper : A century of evolution .
  24. Something I didn't know ( but you guys probably did ) Is that the .303 Lee-Enfield No4 T . was sorted from different batches to pick the best performing ones strait out of the box . They were then sent to Holland and Holland to be made into top spec sniper rifles . The scope that was fitted ( No 32 telescope ) shared the serial number of the rifle so that they always kept together . If you can find a genuine one they are worth a lot of dosh . A lot of fakes out there though .
  25. I have a 20m of angle 34mm for my .308 but not tried it yet . How far out do you recommend before befitting from using it ? 800yds or more ?
