I don't see how the copper could justify shooting her just because she is holding a pot of recently boiled water particularly when she is at least 10 feet away with a work surface between him and her . There is something seriously wrong with some of the American plod .

I know you say the groove is clean but break off a bit of the old ring and use it as a scraper and clean the groove out .

I put a Husqvarna 385xp with a 28" bar in the back of the chipper once . When we got home the saw was gone and the chipper feed shute was down . Never did find it .

Sorry troops . Could not check in this AM coz had no internet . And , and I was up at 04:45 . Went out with the dog about 05:15 and came face to face with a big old badger ! managed the stop the dog chasing it and getting a pasting !

Marine 2t oil is a no no on land based kit . It will over heat . Also it seems you have not found the reason for the failure . If it was an air leak and you have not rectified it you will be doing this all over again . The failure could be down to you using marine 2t oil . .
