    I would hate that .
  5. I don't know A from a bulls arse compared to the other guys but , my instinct tells me nip out that whippy leader down to just above the lower growth where the trunk is thicker . Scrape away the gravel from the root area so they can breath , maybe put a mulch on . I know it effectively halves the height but it might thicken it up a tad .
  6. Similar here . 13c up to 20c with a drop of rain for a short period this morning . Oh , Good morning all by the way !
  7. The above , all day long and twice on Sunday .

    Jokes???

    Dyslexia lures K.O. ?
  10. I totally disagree with the bit that says " the quality stays the same " All my battery kit is Milwaukee Fuel and it beats everything else in my book . A lot of it is made in China I agree but the quality is top banana . There is a you tube vid where all the top brands were pitted against each other . One of the tests was to wind a very long hex head screw into a solid lump of sawn timber about a foot thick . The Milwaukee was the only one that managed to screw it in right to the head in one . Non of the others got it all the way in some stopping far from the mark . There is Milwaukee and there is Milwaukee Fuel One Key . A bit like Bosh Green and Bosch Blue . The Milwaukee Fuel is the pro kit . The One Key varients have a blue tooth connection where you can track the tool with an app on your phone should it wander off from where you left it !
  11. Oi oi then troops . Grey and overcast this morning . 14c now 19c later.
  12. I can recomend the 545
  13. I find the same with my 555rxt but I am old and worn out . I much prefer my 545 with the same setup but is noticeably lighter with almost the same performance . Just not quite so much torque as the 555
  14. Once more unto the breach ...
  15. I don't think they should " parc the bus " I think they should try for another .
  16. Where abouts is that Ruben ?
  17. Also a big fan of Milwaukee kit . Was using the 12amh battery on my big miter saw just yesterday.

I think you are correct . I seem to remember the plain old 268 was called the special ?
  19. Also there is usually two different attachment points on the harness ( there is on the husky one anyway )
  20. This I don't doubt Doobs . The whole processes makes my old body ache matey . I do agree if its just grass thinner line is better . When we used to have our little " debate " I was clattering down all kinds of vegetation and found the 4.0mm square better but yes , on grass 2.5 --2.7 is best .
  21. Weed Wackers is a yank term I have heard . 🙂
  22. Happy Sunday arbies . Grey sky and 17c with a high of 21 .
  23. Another low 20s today . Just come back with the dog , seen a couple of fox cubs running in the rape .
