    Very many thanks for your responses very helpful willow would make sense as the tree was near a large pond/wetland the tree was probably about 35/40m tall with straight up trunk with just branches on the top 5m

    Hi I hope it’s okay to ask this here? I’ve been given some wood for burning but not sure what it is and if it makes good logs Has anyone got any suggestions as to what wood it is please?
