    Morning all . The last day of mild temps here . Late afternoon temps dropping away with a week of low single figures and a few noughts thrown in ! Happy Sunday 🙂

    Not today . They normally shoot on Fridays . The Saturday one last week was an odd one . Antony Whickens bought the day and wanted it on a Saturday .

    If you read what Mark wrote you will see its not a casting defect but the casing was scored from a thrown chain . He did a quick repair by removing the burr and scoring that was causing the problem . Aside from that , a 395xp is a cracking ( old school now ) saw that is tried and tested . I have one ( Crocky ported ) and have had 2x 394xp as well over the years .

    Morning all . The in board pad was like a wafer buisquett and had chewed the disk up . So a trip to Euro parts for new disks and pads . Managed to free off the stuck piston . Hopefully the other side will not be as hard .

    Talking of privacy on the internet I see now that crooks are creating false VPN ( supposed to make you anonymous whilst browsing ) to get your personal details and rinse you . Every day there is something else you godda watch out for .l still want to back to 1964 and use a pencil and paper .

    Mine does not let smoke into the room . There is one hell of a draw on my chimney . It pulls like a train ! 😀

    Nope . The original 7" clay liner is still in place and the 6" stainless liner fits snugly inside that and goes all the way up to the stack with the cowl on top . So effectively double lined . Also any cavities as you come down and get near the register plate are filled with vermiculite beads .
