  1. The fact of the matter is this .. He knew , that I knew , it was his dog leaving the " lawn sausages " He knew that I posted his dogs Richard back to him . I knew that he knew I did the posting . The end result was no more Richards on my lawn . Sorted .
  2. I have the number of a " hit man " should you be interested .
  3. That's a bummer . Sorry to hear it . Would that be from a tick bite ?
  4. My uncle Bob ( One of my Mum's brothers ) long since dead, I remember had shrapnel in his body . It moved about and some times came to the surface and had to be removed . He was in and out of hospital all the time I knew him . I am sure , now I think back, that he suffered from PTSS . He was a lovely man but there was something in the back ground that I perceived but did not understand as I was only 8 or 10 years old . At that time PTSS was not really heard of or understood .
  5. Tell them dry is dry no matter how its done . Tell them also that if , and I mean if , they manage to get some logs dried down to less than 20% moisture ( kiln or air dried ) if they don't use them strait away they will eventually take up the ambient moisture from there local atmospheric and they will have wasted tier money paying extra for kiln dried .
  6. If felling only soft wood you can have the rakers lower than spec and a full or semi skip chain on long bars . No good on hard wood though , low rakers I mean . I once bought a " west Coast " saw ( 385XP ) that had a 30" bar, narrow kirf semi chiz with vertually no rakers left but 80% cutter lenghth left . I was told it was a soft wood only set up .
  7. Life sucks some times . Tragic .
  8. You are a skillful bugger Reg and no mistake . Beautiful place .
  9. I used to be just getting ready for work when I looked out the front to see a collie curling one down on my front lawn . I knew the dog and was on nodding/hi terms with its owner . I used to get it up with a shovel and loose it in the brambles in a field next to me . It became a regular habit , so one day I posted it through his letter box . Never happened again . We still nodded hello ....?
  10. Is it welded to the clutch drum ? If so you will need to spin the drum off ( L/H) thread as per normal ...
  11. The moderator is the full length of the barrel but just cross drilled a few times ( can't remember how many ) at the muzzle end . It is chambered for 3" . If you use 2" it is about the same loudness as an un silenced air rifle . If you fire it without the mod on its as loud as a 12 bore .
  12. I have the same . Fully moderated fold up .
  13. So . Exactly what I posted then . 28ftlbs and over .22 is fine .
  14. Ok . just watched that . The cross hairs were on the bunny . So pretty close . At 35 yards plus you would need to be just above the ears for a head shot on a sub 12 .22
  15. Ok . Consider me wrong if you want . I'm cool .
  16. If you want . I am not new to shooting bud . I am nearly 66 and have been shooting since I was about 12 . I know what a well placed .22 will do . just my opinion . You missed the bit were I said I have seen the run off when struck with a low powered .22 .
  17. Disagree westphalian , westphalian, westphalian . ( respectfully ) We don't want it with a head ache . We want it dead . I'm not saying its not accurate , you can zero in ab 8ftlbs if you want but will it kill it ?
  18. And run it on Aspen , particularly if its for occasional use .
  19. Well , I don't think so . but its a buy product of the amuniti....Oh ! yes I see a double entendre ?
