    Oh yes Sorry . Still can't see how not using it would kill the engine as there are engines with a cat and no add blue tank .

    I would be interested to know how this could be . As far as I know add blue is approximately 70% de ionized water and 30% urea and is injected into the exhaust after the cat .

    Tiny , tiny improvement might be gained by removing the spark arrestor screen if it has one . Other than a magic wand I think porting is the way to go . Oh and as Mick says proper sharp chain and proper clean air filter .

    If your chimney is not above the apex by a decent amount you could get this problem with with wind in certain directions . Also I would try blocking your " air from the outside vent " and just see if pulling it from the room stops the problem . Could be one fighting against the other . Must be a right pain . I don't have any of these problems

    If you could get permission to walk the central reservation of the A27 near Chichester you could lift hundreds of self seeded Ash . Not possible I know but it seems a shame when they mow them all down after the effort they have made .

    I planted 3 Oaks that I had grown in pots . They were about waist high . All doing well until some twat with a tractor and flail rashered them off to the ground . Wanker !
