Ok . Bloke alleyways wanted to be a cow boy . Wins the pools one day , so over he goes to Texas . Walks into the store and buys the kit . ... Yea Steve . What I thought initially . If you think about the modern Barber type coats , with the drop liner , . I think the moisture is encouraged to form on the plastic and where it is open underneath it vents away to ground . What say you ?

You are not alone there Rich . Perzactly the self same thing happened to me a few years ago . I have access top a small track that used top be an old railway line . My log pile is at the end of it . i try to " pretty it up as best I can with this and that . Put in some baby oaks I grew from acorns and planted them and some **** with a flail rashered them all off ! . Planted a fruiting cherry and someone dug it up and stole it ! don't bother any more ....

Ok . Initially my first reaction was anything involving plastic means the wood will " sweat" and not get rid of its moisture . But .... I see what he is doing . He is making it sweat , collecting the moisture on the plastic and letting it run away underneath . So yea , like it . At the end of the day the moisture meter cant lie ......

This is the first time I have ever used it ( on my log store roof in the absence of felt ) but I am impressed how well " ducks Back " repels water . Too thick to spray on . Brushed on 3 coats and it is quite literally...... like a ducks back ....!

Sooo how is the rest of the season going to pan out then ?? Any new predictions based on how it is so far ?
