I have one and have had a couple of 394 as well . Stonking saw as far as I can tell . Does not get used a great deal but totally reliable when it comes out .Mine runs a 36" .404 no problems .
  4. I only use huskys now and on , say , a 346 which is a spin on - spin off clutch I have an aluminium drift which I give the clutch a tonk and it spins off . Compression is enough ( pull out the de comp button ) . When you spin it back on finger tight , rev the saw , sap the brake on and Bobs yer uncle and Fannys yer aunt .
  5. Well that is exactly what I said in my post a little way back ....
  6. I said for doing it up you don't need a tool
  7. You don't need a piston stop and you don't need to hit anything..... Oh and you don't need " the tool "
  8. Just spin it on by hand and the next time you apply the chain brake it tightens . How I have always done it anyway .
  9. Mmmm . poor bugger . Muscle and tendons I wonder ?
  10. No . Might change it sometime but does not seem to affect at all ...
  11. This is the only thing that has happened to mine . Not sure if it was pulling it up or leaning on it hard in a full bar cut to set the A/T ......
  12. The thing with Jons is there are 3 levels . Initial posts sent from home on his pc , lap top or whatever are " entry level " posts . The next degree up are the " off out " posts . The ultimate challenge are the " down the pub on cizzer " posts sent from his phone . This is where the enigma machine come into play .....
  13. I am sixty years old being born in the January of 1953 . I do however have the mental age of about eleven .This I find , is good fun , and helps to keep me sane ! I favor punctuation and capital letters where appropriate but can decipher some of the modern speak . I also have a degree in " medipees " which allows me communicate with , and understand Jon .
  14. Gomtaro but hardly ever use it .
  15. I'm off to see " Black Veil Brides " with my 14 year old son and his mate . Not my cup of tea nowadays but been there in my youth .
  16. Would you be , technically " of no fixed abode " then and would that affect anything ?
