  1. This is my Burley Hollywell nominally 5kw but I am sure it punts out more .

    As I understand it after the initial set up from out of the box you don't need to worry . I think it is continually adjusting its self to the cutting conditions / I have a 560 and the new T540 . The 560 has been set up once in 2011 when I got it and never since . The T540 had to be done once when my mate ran it right out of fuel but since then its been fine . I don't think its such a big deal really ......

    Whilst you are taking bits off , idelling for 30secs , and then putting bits on again you are cutting wood with the Husky ........ Like we are in the play ground again

    I read on hear somewhere that Husky make the M-tronic carbs for Stihl ......Also with the Husky you don't have to take anything apart and put it back together you basically just start it and cut . Why Stihl did not do it like that God knows ......

    If that does not cure it you may need to take it to your dealer to have it plugged in for a diagnostic check .

    Its in the book . Goes something like ...Start the saw rev it hard and make 3 to 5 cuts the full length of the bar keeping the saw flat out . just check in your hand book , its in there .
  10. Yea that does happen . It did to me . I think once you have gone past a certain number of items your name flags up on their computer and thats it .....
  11. Same as you Mick . Dire just after Christmas and slowly picked up as the year went on . Booked up for a month now .
  12. You might get tugs for customs duty which could make it about the same . Sometimes you do sometimes you don't !

    I hate it when you hear of people getting punished for defending their own . Tony Martin etc
  14. The trees have a " natural ladder " . Spikes and wire core flip line . sned off on the up section fell on the down . Have a good breakfast , lots of small breaks and finish when you are tired .

    Did you set the auto tune as per the book when you first got it ? Have you ran it right out of fuel at all ? If ether of the above you will need to set the atotune
  17. Ah ! So just offer up for inspection and don't give a stated purpose ? or are you obliged to give a purpose ?
  18. Mmmm I got a bit lost too thought it was a 550 A/T but there is a 346 in there somewhere I think . Thats why I said " take it back ( 550 ) and get it plugged in ....
