  4. Just take it to your dealer and let him plug it in to the pc ( if they have the Husqvarna soft wear ) it should only take seconds to reset the carb if its the carb at fault .
  5. Agreed just do it on the bar for normal sharpening but when you have damaged chain or chains it is an advantage I find . Don't find it fiddly its just a clamp afterall . The good thing about them is they grip the chain tightly on the drive links so there is no tenancy for the chain to rock or lean as it can do when in the bar ...
  6. I got one some where ... Its basically as described above , 2 bits of angle iron that bolt together with a machined surface . Mine actually is held in a normal vice but has 2 bolts to pull the thing together which you lock off just short of holding the chain then two cam locks to hold it tight so you can quick release it to move the chain along and nip it up again .
  7. I watched my mate the other day sharpen up on his palax . he did one side standing up then did the other side laying on the bed of the machine almost parallel to the ram ....

  12. 202 shots on the first drive for 40 odd birds did not look promising but they picked up a bit later . It was a 300 bird sold day and they got up in the 280 + at the end . Lot of shots though and one numpty was using a 28 bore . Great if you are a cracking shot but silly if you are average !
  13. Hey Marc . No worries bud . I use red Line as my saws are ported and rev harder than a standard saw . Any of the known brands , Husqvarna XP or the Stihl one you spoke of will be fine . Best Regards to you matey
