I do. I'm just a cog in a big wheel. I dont expect I'll ever stop causing harm to the environment. Amazon rainforest being decimated. Thermal coal powering China. Worldwide nuclear waste rotting in undisclosed locations. Stop violence. Stop materialism.

as above model numbers would help - the old FS130 were 4-mix and the valve gap had to be adjusted after so many hours, FS131 may need the same.

most tree work seems to be more aimed at risk removal, 'don' want my grandchildren playing under that' etc, which is fair enough. If you want to see a big tree, go to the tree museum (and stand well clear).

Your average tree contractor may not know about patterns of decay of all the different fungi, for example, some do, some don't. So trying to get free advice as part of a quote visit isn't always going to give you a definitive answer. The tree guys on here know their stuff when it comes to work positioning and machinery maintenance, but you often see contractors asking 'what fungi is this?' The best thing a tree owner can do is not let humans or valuable infrastructure near it ever, then the tree can safely manage itself until death.
