  3. what are the freelancers using? Just started with xero but I have no basis for comparison. I like the idea of being able to sync with your bank account so you don't have to keep tallying payments. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. There's a couple of clips of my mates Sika on my Instagram. Joe_newton88 Very capable truck, although if you crash you are the crumple zone... Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

  11. Evening guys, had a job for next week fall through so i'm now free from Wednesday to Thursday. I'd be interested to great from anyone around the Rugby, Coventry area that could use a climber in those days! Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. It used to be less but your mum paid me in cake. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Not had any slipping issues with 11.0mm line. Can't really see how the can would wear considering the small use it gets. It might be that firmer ropes slip as the can doesn't bite down as hard as on softer lines. For instance tachyon is very firm due to its 2 cores, and the cam might not "squash" the rope as much as the velocity I use, which is quite supple and "squashable" by comparison. 14. On a similar note if anyone can point me to an insurance company, arb supplier or Greggs that doesn't charge I'd appreciate it. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Save your energy, don't fight it Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. I've found the same on tachyon, which is thinner than your rope. The only solution is thinner line. 11mm velocity is an absolute dream. The redirect thing is a hooks pint but doesn't remove the need for limbwalks altogether. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Surely a subbies should get a rate that he has decided. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. I reckon it's pretty safe. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. The echo is the only saw I use the fuel primer on. Cold start: 3x primer, choke on, pull over til you get a positive cough, choke off and go. It doesn't always like starting with the chainbrake on. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. Have they made a pair of decent saw trousers that'll stand up to that!? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. They are similar fitting to the Hiflex (which was the one good thing about the stihl trousers) but I've had a good 18 months wear out of the Arbortecs and they're still holding up well, which is unheard of with Hiflex. They're also noticeably lighter too Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. I remember one guy on my 38 that had tried to buy his kit beforehand. Must have had a dozen screw gates and other bits and bobs that were all unfit for purpose. Wait for your training before you splash out. You'll find what works for you and if you're even cut out for climbing before you blow any money. Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. No sit back? Try the positioner too mate. I can lend you mine for a week or two if you like? Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
