  1. You don't like his opinion, but he's not being personal or rude to you. Welcome to the Internet.
  2. Wouldn't be nearly enough to get me near them, but i guess i wouldn't take a job as a lifeguard if i couldn't swim either.
  3. In all honesty if it was the choice between a paintball gun filled with Sarin gas and getting up close and personal i think i might be holding my breath and excrcising my trigger finger.
  4. What does he charge per outting, Mick? After my unpleasant experience with wasps last year I'd hope it was worth it.
  5. Not necessarily. Just long enough that the front of the mewp doesn't overhand the trailer hitch. The body of the trailer only has to be a bit longer than the tracks.
  6. Having read enough of his posts on here I'd say he does.
  7. That's a story KKKriss would be proud of.
  8. You'd be scared of them too if your shithole of a country wasn't too waterlogged to be worth them invading!
  9. I managed to blag a few epi pens from my doctor for that exact reason. I don't want to find out the hard way.
  10. Fair point though. A crap tree surgeon with a well written quote stands a much better chance of getting the work than a decent lad who doesn't present his business well.
  11. The daughter of the client was highly shaggable and very interested in the hero strapped to the tree. Annoyingly both times she visited i was up in the tree so she couldn't witness my debonair personality and rugged good looks. More annoyingly is that I'm in a committed relationship. Life can be unfair sometimes.
  12. I took a different tack. "I won't moan about the tree if you don't moan about the phone lines" The manhole cover was just belt and braces to illustrate my point.
  13. I'd genuinely rather be on spikes free falling that than clearing the unholy mess on the ground.
  14. Good man. One slinging one cutting? I had to read "pick riding pic" a couple of times.my mind went straight to the vulgar There wasn't a lot of holding going on, hence the collateral. I'll climb them, but I'll draw the line at limb walking and chucking over phone lines. That's why i keep BT junction boxes in the van.
  15. Turned up to this horrible thing today. I expressed my displeasure by doing 3 phone lines and a drain cover.
  16. I remember that. Some people will do anything for free stuff
  17. Itd probably be way more comfy for you these days.
  18. Ostrich tactics. Why not?
  19. You can have good, or cheap. You won't get good for £70 Look at army surpus bergens if you don't need arb specific gear.
  20. He'd sure as fuk have one though!
  21. A mate told me now in the army the recruits get to hold up a yellow card if they feel like they're being mistreated or bullied in training. No wonder Russia isn't worried about us. I had to replace a tele in lockdown after i launched the controller after being killed on a buy station for the umpteenth time on warzone by some thirsty little basement dweller. To add insult to injury i forgot that the controller was attached to my head with the headphones.
  22. THIS ADVERT HAS EXPIRED!

    • FOR SALE
    • USED

Selling my Spud Ported 357xpg as it doesn't get used enough. Real head turner of a saw. Anyone i let use it ends up grinning like a loon. These saws are hard to come by these days, especially in good condition with heated handles never mind ported and exhaust modded. No auto-tune to go wrong. Runs better than new with no trouble. Comes with an 18" sugi bar with a narrow kerf .325 chain which flies through the wood. Can send videos of it working if required. Collection from Midlands preferred but can arrange postage at buyers cost. £600
