  1. I'm not too far, drop me a message with your company name and details. 07724387547
  2. Congratulations, you can use Google. Did you actually bother to read it though? "This is not reasonable, in terms of current case law precedent. In severing these roots on the tension side, the line of trees were left at significant risk of windthrow." If by pruning roots or branches back to the boundary you cause the tree to become unsafe, you could well be held liable for the removal/replacement or any damages caused should the tree then fail. It's generally better not to give advice on matters you don't understand.
  3. Man's chatting bare shit, fam.
  4. Exactly. I'm capable of doing a nice pruning job, but I'll save it for the customers who appreciate it. I'll generally try and advise people what will look best/ be kinder to the tree, but if they want it walloping I'm not wasting my time with a silky. As a freelancer if i turned down every spec i disagreed with my kid would go hungry.
  5. I think i can speak for Mick when i say he's absolutely in favour of a good topping when the client pays, as are most of us. I feel thicker for participating in this with you, but I've had a beer so I'll forgive myself.
  6. What's scary about a re-pollard? Its bread and butter work.
  7. I strictly stick to mincing, so you can keep "hetero" saw.
  8. Why are you assuming their sexuality? Bigot.
  9. The thing that confuses me is that everyone I've met who has an 880 for tree work never has longer than a 36" bar anyway. Fair enough if you're dropping monsters on the regular and use a longer bar, but it's as if they looked at a 36" 660 and thought "Yeah, I'd like a heavier version, please".
  10. Nope, my 660 can manage pretty much anything I'm likely to come across in the UK. Not much need for an 88 round here.
  11. I had the displeasure of using an 881 from a mewp with a 36" bar a couple of months back. Plenty of torque but no faster than my 660. Horrible to sling around though. The starter handle had broken and they'd improvised with one from a spare top handle. I took one attempt and starting it and flat out refused.
  12. The 880 will cut slower than the 660 in anything other than 30"+ timber
  13. Why? He made a mistake. You sound like an angry little man.
  14. I'd immediately let that joker be someone else's problem Jose. The people who want their emergencies dealing with in their terms and to their budgets, are usually the same ones who've never had anyone look at their trees or ignore you when you flag up a concern.
  15. How are you powering these? I thought they were designed to be run off a leisure battery?
  16. I prioritised smoking weed and fingering instead of my GCSEs, and here i am!
  17. Small dmm shackle from Skyland. About a secure as you'll get. Bit of a tight fit though.
  18. I think kids should be assessed for free school meals by their BMI.
  19. What are you going to do about them? Argue on the Internet? Best not to feed the trolls. Good for you for giving it a go. Gender is irrelevant though. You're either useful or you're not.
  20. I was picking up the birth control pill to stop my cycle. Being gay is so 2015.
  21. Last time i was in a pharmacy the lad brought out the prescription and quietly asked what my exemption was. I didn't understand so he showed me the list and then i had to explain that i pay for my prescriptions. He seemed genuinely surprised. It was a busy day in the pharmacy and i hadn't seen a single person before me pay.
