  1. If you can't be bothered to go back to read my comment for context then there's not much point having a discussion with you. If you do find the energy then you'll notice i was referring to during the paleolithic era. I also explained this in the reply to Peds' comment that you quoted. Perhaps "wasn't" would've been clearer than "isn't". If you want to have a discussion, don't be lazy and read the comments carefully. If you're just looking to argue then I'm out.
  2. Read my above post.i haven't said that at all. You're skim reading my comments and replying with disparaging remarks.
  3. You're not reading my posts properly mate. At no point have i claimed that. I've said that in the hunter gatherer era it would've been impossible to survive without meat being the primary part of our diet. Why on earth would i try and argue that with vegetarianism/veganism being so prevalent today, regardless of how healthy i think it is?
  4. I'm not denying that we ate other things 🤣 you couldnt thrive on a diet of veg in those times though. It was supplementary to a carnivorous diet. We were purely opportunistic. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove mentioning other herbivorous species. That's entirely irrelevant.
  5. Not to mention that we existed as hunter gatherers for the overwhelming majority of our time as a species. We've only been processing food like grains etc for a small percentage of that time. I wonder how many diabetics/celiacs etc they're were before then.
  6. Indian vegetarians has nothing to do with the paleolithic era we were talking about. Vegetarianism has only been an option since we've learnt to cultivate our own produce. Your doctors opinion or diet bears absolutely no weight with me. Doctors over the course of history have pushed many terrible agendas, through misinformation or corruption. You're honestly trying to tell me that a diet based on good quality meat and greens is worse for you than eating mainly processed carbs?
  7. At times of the year, yes. Berries and fruit etc are seasonal. What else were they eating in the winter? Fruit and veg isn't (should say wasn't) nutrient dense enough to sustain people. The vast majority of our food was meat.
  8. If meat was bad for us we wouldn't have survived past the paleolithic era.
  9. You'll need a rescue climber. Best pay me to be there too. Honestly it looks like an easy day for a cimber. I'd be pretty chuffed to be booked in for that. Job and knock by elevenses
  10. Reckon you'd have to time a phone call to Dempsey for after his birthday blowjob to catch him in a good mood.
  11. Where abouts are you based?
  12. Some people on here genuinely think tree work is like trying out for SAS selection. Its not hard, turn up on time, be polite and reliable and if you really want to impress, bring your own lunch in with you. Tree work has never been easier with the range of labour saving kit available to us. I'd suggest you avoid working for those who expect you to do pelvic floor excersises to avoid blowing your rectum out on a daily basis.
  13. I'll do it for £650.
  14. You don't like his opinion, but he's not being personal or rude to you. Welcome to the Internet.
  15. Wouldn't be nearly enough to get me near them, but i guess i wouldn't take a job as a lifeguard if i couldn't swim either.
  16. In all honesty if it was the choice between a paintball gun filled with Sarin gas and getting up close and personal i think i might be holding my breath and excrcising my trigger finger.
  17. What does he charge per outting, Mick? After my unpleasant experience with wasps last year I'd hope it was worth it.
  18. Not necessarily. Just long enough that the front of the mewp doesn't overhand the trailer hitch. The body of the trailer only has to be a bit longer than the tracks.
  19. Having read enough of his posts on here I'd say he does.
  20. That's a story KKKriss would be proud of.
  21. You'd be scared of them too if your shithole of a country wasn't too waterlogged to be worth them invading!
  22. I managed to blag a few epi pens from my doctor for that exact reason. I don't want to find out the hard way.
  23. Fair point though. A crap tree surgeon with a well written quote stands a much better chance of getting the work than a decent lad who doesn't present his business well.
  24. The daughter of the client was highly shaggable and very interested in the hero strapped to the tree. Annoyingly both times she visited i was up in the tree so she couldn't witness my debonair personality and rugged good looks. More annoyingly is that I'm in a committed relationship. Life can be unfair sometimes.
  25. I took a different tack. "I won't moan about the tree if you don't moan about the phone lines" The manhole cover was just belt and braces to illustrate my point.
