Thats great an a beaut of a K.kettle. i couldnt wait either and opened pressies from a mate i work for, and in it was the start to my black and orange xmas lol everything stihl, mug ( i smash mine 2 months ago) 2 vintage caps fm the u.s voucher and a couple of other bits Stoked ... Merry christmas, even to those on the dark side
  3. Just set up the mini groto to place all the pressie in, tab and beer time whilst the wifie squares them away lol

  6. Colron natural finishing oil, ive been whittling a bunch of hearts in different types of wood and this really brings out the natural grain. You can buff it aswell for a more polished looked
  7. If ur worried about the tree falling on the tractor could u not use a redirect with a prussic, so if u lost traction the rope would be held tight by the prussic. Place a towing strap around the tree as high as u can get it attach rope

  10. Cant believe that we've almost reached £3500 already before xmas. Its fantastic to see all of us pulling together either in buying the tickets or donating the prizes. Hope this goes along way and helps the children at the children's trust

  12. Ey up royal, as said it maybe an idea to spread the different types of work you can do so you have all year round work. I.e Treework Landscaping Log sales/chip Fencing Etc etc So are you out in the sandbox contracting atm ? Also near your time ill dig out some numbers for you

My first pair of trouser i bought where type a's but since i was on the college course i had to go out and get a set of c's. ive never worn thise a's, but for piece of mind ive carried on wearing my c's in anything i do. They can get hot in the summer but extra water breaks i just carry on. I know the class 2 type c's are even warmer so for piece of mind and being comfortable in what ur used to id stick with the class 1 type c trousers. Also im sure u can get type c's with extra venterlation, but ive always stayed with the stihl's and never had a problem
  15. Lol true but ive mainly used stihl so id only comment on what ive used. And with the 261 ive not had any major issues

  18. They are fantastic and the yanks are given them, i managed to get a couple via a swap lol after that i bought a couple for different options when i was contracting out in afghan i.e weapon mounted, helmet, hand and vehicle lol Couldn't praise them enough, well worth the £££

  20. If your not 100% could you not ask a tree firm to do it but have yourself in the tree watching learning and possibly having a go? Also take insurance out to cover yourself if you decide to do it

  23. Have used something similar, but ended up buy a surefire to replace which was alil more £ but has outlasted it by a couple of years and still going strong
  24. Shocking, it may work for u bud but there are other safer way just as quick to deal with a tree like that, have a look on tinternet for the nptc cs 34 practices
