  10. I use one everyday at work and its not bad. Once u get used to getting the revs up its a decent wee saw especially on small stuff. There doesn't seem to be hardly any exhaust fumes either.

  12. It would be class to do the tall trees. I know round lake vrynwy in Powys there are some tall firs as well.
  13. What about Prunus cerasifera as well? They don't grow very tall so might not need much work but are not native though.

  22. Ye I will do. There is a big plane on reading town centre by the oracle I'm going to try climb it early one Sunday before anyone is about!
  23. In newbury there is a London plane which is massive. We are crown lifting it in the next few weeks. It spreads over 4 gardens. I climbed it the other day. It has a massive spread, the basis easily 5foot across. I must get some photos. Anyone know where the largest plane in the uk is?
  24. So the ring is used if you want to use the lanyard as a single line so you can use the full length?
  25. This is me removing an obviously massive birch from a chimney stack!
