  7. A scots pine with what looked like Phaeolus schweinitzii although the fruiting bodies were old. A fair bit of decay when I cut the stem down. .

  9. I just want to say how great the service is from fr jones. I bought 2 pairs of gloves and 1pair came with 2 right handed ones so I emailed to tell them and they replayed saying they would send 2 lefts one free of charge! Excellent folks, 1st call for gear in future!

  11. Ye I know that from climbing on a vt. Will having 13mm rope make a big difference to the smoothness of the wrench?
  12. Ye the oc is very stiff to use I have got some Yale about the place il try with it
  13. I don't think so at all, it is tragic though. Radio dj's prank loads of people which leads to no harm and I don't think this one incident should change that.
  14. Stella is 3 1/2 and Eileen is 3 months so she is still a fair handful. Great craic though
  15. So I have a mess around with a tether and I've come to this I dunno if it's because I'm using 13mm rope but there is a fair bit of friction when I release the hitch and its quite jolly as well
  16. Good on ya having a go when I was in oz and started climbing the big eucalyptus it was hard, nothing to grip on some of them and they are massive!
