  1. Gobbypunk,, i was going to get a converter years ago but my electrician said it was a bad idea due to huge amperage needed, yes i converted it myself 13hp engine few months ago to help me clean up the timber i had left , ive been messing around with a 240v 16inch axminster thicknesser for about 10years, night and day is the difference, ive made about 50 dumpy bags of compacted planings with it so far ,, The problem with alot of the big planers is they have 2 motors , Cost wise ,,planer near 1000 and engine from germany 210 ,, and a few belt of different lengths to get it to work ,, Would let it go for 1000 including the original 5.5kw motor and 2 sets of blades, Loosing my yard in a couple of weeks so will need gone but ive more wood to plane so if anyone wants it its available at the end of the month

  4. Borntotrot after doing some reading upon chronic fatigue i did see there was a connection to ME but hoping things dont go that way, INTHEWOODS, there is a connection with people stopping smoking, the cigeretts act as an imuno suppresent and can mask symptons, then a few months after things seem to happen , I knew a a few years before giving up that something wasnt rite with me but put alot of it down to eating lots of fruit trying to keep energy levels up , good luck to you
  5. Good reaing through this post,, Diagnosed with UC 2 years ago after having pheumonia and stopping smoking ,, its at the end of my system so not as bad as alot of other people but my inflammation markers have never been under control since finding out but the doctors say im recovering , after trying lots of drugs which made me worse im now on imuno suppressants(chemo drug ), and ive had to give up forestry work on the saw , sold my sawmill due to struggling to hump timber around and stress of not know when the next money is coming , and now doctors say ive got cronic fatigue which could be due to the steriods or something im just gonna have to live with , IM waiting for things to get better because it has messed alot of my life up,

  19. Your looking for the top quality saw logs,, Most from commercial forestry is spoken for before cut and your probs best going to an agent/sawmill, going on your postcode your not far from a big place,, I hand felled about 80 tonne on harvester site couple of weeks ago that would of fit your sizes but it went as 13 metre logs for hole pole log cabins, Seen a wagon at Newcastleton area last week heading west and it had a huge load , 8 logs of pure quality
