  1. elfinwood no im not at St Boswells ,, but my mobile sawmill was there a while ,, im near hawick,, id spotted you on ebay somehow and there was a mention about stanhope,, could of been to do with firewood or chainsaws,,, message me your number and ill give a buzz if we have probs,, got spare saws but there bein worked hard ,, cheers graham bell

Hello there,, Working in the Hexham area next 3-4 months and needing to know of nearest dealer or source of parts for husky saws in the area ,, just in case of breakdowns it would be good to know whats local,,, north durham area also would be good to know,,,,, May also have a need for fellers depending if other work gets the go ahead,, felling spruce for whole tree chipping ,, only need for brashing is for getting into base of tree for felling cuts,, all day felling ,,nptc s needed 30 31 at least ,, ppe,, and well maintained saw as there hard worked ,,high safety site ,,,,,,, any interest let me know your details and ill pass them on the head man

  8. Ive got a 360 crane on roof of my tractor,, done by wilsons,, it has ce marks on the frame work ,, how would this work if you got someone else was to fit it ,, would you still be able to go onto fc sites etc

  10. i second big j here ,,elm is not suitable as firewood,, what a waste , yes i used to fell trees to burn but, its gonna get rare in the old coloured varietys ,, no 2 trees the same ,,

  12. elm will only go up in price over time,looks like therell be some burr in it , worth milling ,, cut it in half (length )to make more managable, cut 2 inch or over and itll give ypou more options,, over 2 inch and your into woodturning thickness,=, more customers

  14. tried it last year for a couple of months,,, had a quite few enquirys , but your advertising to alot of people and if you only delivery very local itll probs be a waste of time,,, ive just had orders from 3lots of last years ebay customers this week booking timber for later in the year,,, prices in my rural part of the country are similar ebay prices,, but people know theyll have to pay more this year ,, which is a pity because im way behind with my firewood,,it may mean illhave wood ready after new year ,last year i stopped supplying new customers after december
  15. i got a new 346 xp last week from a local dealer ,, they knocked £50 off shelf price but i still paid £60 (inch vat ) more than cheapest i could find on net ,,, ,if i have problems itll go back to local dealer rather than trying to send back to internet dealer

  18. 35 n startin to feel it ,went to wolsingham school , left stanhope 19 years ago, still go down to stanhope as my grans there ,, tryin to think who still lives at tow law that i know ,, ive just gone blank ,,,,,,

Hello,, pictures of the trekka saw milling olive burr ash ,, tree was approx 120cm ,, cut edges off so bookmatch pieces could be cut ,, boards in picture are 100cm wide ,, playing with using different lubricants at the moment ,, darker marks on timber come off when dry ,, diesel is probs best but with wide cuts alot needs to be used and can add alot to the cost of milling ,,
