  4. He could go into building near by and cut it out of window with gypsy stick.
  5. I will also take the easy option of felling all the time, can see how your cuts would work, but have all ways pull a line on back leaners when I can even if its a rope tried off to another tree. If wedging them over do front cut and then bore back cut in from back which give you some where to put wedge then cut each side. Best of all if I can get truck winch on the line to pull it as it have wireless remote.
  6. Can you not get it covered through you public liability insurance. Mine has a plant cover on it and hired in plant cover.
  7. If it could be felled would he be asking the question about climbing it??. Never heard of felling trees your way, There's a lot that can go wrong and if it did try and explain that in court if it got to that.
  8. My old boss bought one in 1987 for me to use great saw, I had a husqvarna 61 and still have it but the 630 had a bit more poke. Spoke to him a couple of months ago and some parts are a job to get oil pump is one, There is someone on here how runs a lot of Jonesred's.
  9. Had a eucalyptus years ago that was in a back garden only a foot across and 40f high with root plate that was not stable, couldn't get cherry picker near it and was not going to climb it. Land up taking it apart with a set of park pruner poles and roping ever bit by put rope up with poles, until I made it a lot lighter so I could climb it.
  10. Most parts from that saws eara were the same as husqvarna.
  11. It's a jonesred 630 or 670 there should be a plate just below oil filler but looks like it is missing.
  12. How tall is it.
  13. Wasn't the wind S/West.
  14. Your tree is your responsibility to clear it up,
  15. It should state in which ever winch you buy manual what size battery it needs minimum but you will still need a good alternator to keep it topped up. You shouldn't need a massive winch on a chipper if it's for self recovery or the odd tree pull, worth looking at Winchmax winchs on ebay.
  16. Getting up hear, but scaffolding company is trying to put some up on the house next-door.
  17. Saw a Toyota hilux that had been in a field with some Charolais youngest not a straight panel on it, and driver was as white as they where.
  18. Nothing much hear in East anglia, but ment to get bad by midday so will just wait and see.
  19. Spoke to a lad how works for UK power network how was drafted to go up there and sort mess out, one of his quotes was 300 poles down on a 400 pole span.
  20. Work Gloves by Engelbert Strauss WWW.ENGELBERT-STRAUSS.CO.UK Discover over 120 different models of work gloves from the areas... Maybe worth look, they do female work wear so should do small gloves.
  21. As others have said bit like willow, so get it cut and dried and keep under cover, other wise goes to mush. Have had 3 massive limes in the last couple of years and wood has been a nightmare to keep dry to keep it good.
  22. The one I use I borrowed off an old boy how had used it for over ten years with no problems.
  23. Yes is the answer, but make sure there is little to no wind. Used a Cooper peglar sprayer with big nozzle.
  24. I think some of the lads on that site worked out completely how he was and went about to see how far they could push him to get him to bit.
  25. Best thing to do is watch and make your own mind up about how you see them. And by the way he drives a white MITSUBISHI and he knocked the bumper off, so even people on here can't tell the story right. He is at Appleby horse fair this week.
