  2. I think 30/35m is a waste of time really 45m is spot on and gives you a bit more of an advantage if you ever want to redirect from the other end of your climbing line. Marlowe Aries is a great rope for a cheap rope, but I would push the boat out a little more and get yourself some tachyon.... Splice is a must it neatens up the system you use and as been mentioned offers a greater strength than a knot. Of cause Joe this is only my personnel opinion and others may vary............. a lot.... Adam. Ps was good to Speak to you on the phone earlier mate.....

  23. No worries Rich thanks anyway, I to have done this corse and was very impressed loads more indeph than a normal first aid corse... Need a refresher it ran out in 2010.....
