  8. I think you should all stop being lazy and just write in a sentence what you mean to stop all confusion at all!! Ok I use it but maybe it's about time we all stopped. I used to use a traditional method called doubled rope technique where the rope runs through a friction system attached to your harness through/over a pulley or a branch and back down to your harness again and attached via a karabiner! I now work using a single rope technique enabling me to get in to a work position where the tie in point of my rope maybe a branch in the top of a tree or doubled over a crotch and back down the tree and tied of in a base anchor then your attached to the work end of the rope with a similar setup to that of doubled rope technique but with a couple of other components such as a rope wrench to ensure that work position is even possible. In some country's it is compulsory to work of 2 separate doubled rope techniques so that your always anchored into more than one point at all times this becomes double rope technique. Are we all clear? Or is there still some confusion? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App

  11. I hate loops in my throw line, it's just another added thing to get caught up on something, cow hitch all the way, Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. I personally like the streamline eyelet, stops it getting caught on little dead pegs. I can't fault it at all really, I'm using 2mm marlow always have done, never got on with zingit and only tried stein pink once but forgot about that experience so wouldn't mind giving it another blast with the throwpod in tow Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. Thanks tony, didn't want to sound like I was preaching about it but at the same time didn't want to make it sound like I was saying its good but not that good I have to use a bag also Ill get some photos up soon, taking a few days off as Alex is due with our son any day now Good work with it though mate, really like it 👍 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Being used to a bag that just thumps up the limb 6 inches from where you where aiming becomes frustrating!!!! nailing first time with the throwpod defiantly puts a smile on your face, for one reason if you miss it's very bouncy on a hard wood beach ash or oak ect, but having got use to the weight and shape of it, my throwing accuracy has improved, I've not got it stuck yet!!! But that's not to say I won't!! So far really impressed with it. Still using a bag now and then as I'm still shy about using it on concrete Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App

  24. Last time I used one I remember tying setting and dressing the hitch I went up and never had to play with it once, I think it's the same as any hitch really if your taking it of and putting back on all the time, you will get the odd time you have to fiddle with it to get it just right. When you reckon you'll be back in woodhall mate? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
