  1. Just remembered I had this photo and thought I hadn't put it in here for you rupe Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Thanks Dan, really chuffed you like it, I've got an awesome idea for some custom tethers but that's top secret at the minute 😉 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. No mate your zigzag is no different from anyone else's, as is no ones lockjack or spiderjack any different, it is ok to dislike or find fault with or in these lads cases like some features but dislike others, it was the same for me, grew up on a hitch then moved to a lockjack and loved and still do love it to bits, I vowed never to go back to a hitch but here I am! Ok different climbing style but I took something I thought I hated so bad but i turned it into some I love so passionately.... In my eyes I don't care what anyone climbs with as long as there happy safe and get the job done,. But the hitch will never die! A well tied, set and dressed hitch will never have any flaws... 4. I see what you mean now haaaa! I thought you ment attaching yourself direct to the rings that attach the webbing for the sliding D? It's nothing like a treemotion mate, so no Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Rupe I've looked at the user manual and can't find anything to say if the sliding D rings are rated or not so will go on the assumption there not.... There's no marking on the rings them self either mate, can I ask why you would use them though? 😊 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Nice video, who's imagining what though? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. Yes mate it's all fine but it just felt so easy to open, I see what you mean though and had noticed the size difference of the bina compared to other steel ones, it's a lot chunkier Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. You got any trees in your garden mate? Ill run over one night and give you a blast on the wrench mate? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Oops for got pictures Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Here we Steve the gear loop under the side D is rated to take heavy saws I've added this old open gate as a quick holster point for the saw as I broke my last petzl karitool the other day, it would be better placed a little to the left and a caritool would be better than that old bina but its doing the job Not sure on the lower rings rupe ill have to look in the manuel for you when I get home, the harness has so many replaceable parts its unreal, as are the lower rings on the sliding D there bolted just like the sequoia srt harness rings. 11. Little picture of one of the Velcro straps on the right hand side leg loop! As a say only a little niggle but we will see in time Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. Really rate the hitchhiker after another blast with it on Saturday, only a couple little niggles with it, the bina did get a little hot on a long decent but I guess that's normal??? And Not sure about the bina you get with it as the gate seems really easy to open, almost to the point it feels like a 2 way bina!!! is it advisable to add a different steel oval bina of some sort? Really rocking it though Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. So what can I say, I've jumped in at the deep end and so far I have only one small issue with the harness and that's the two Velcro straps on the leg loops, other than that the harness is lite comfy and very well made, great back and leg supports, excellent freedom, maybe lacking 1 or 2 more top gear loops but the ones on there so far have managed to be big enough and accessible, great side D position although a little smaller than I'm used to buy I'm getting to grips with them now, the adjustable sliding D is fantastic! Great little feature, so after a weeks working in it and some cony bashing today I'm very pleased with it, I think anyone who is interested in a new harness should defiantly give this a try on down your local Arb shop, (if they stock it). Gonna take the rating up one notch and give it a firm 9/10. Ill report back on it at the end of the month Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. You sure that's 90ft Ali ??? I would of said 70ft at a push, it could be just the photo angle, will watch the video when I get home not had chance to watch it yet mate Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Here we go, I just can't get over what an epic shot it is ill get all the others put up soon but got the kids over tonight Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. Afraid not mate as I haven't got the supply's to make anymore till after April, I only ordered enough heat wrap for The Gambia trip tethers. Sorry mate. I'm in Spalding will you be about all week? Have you got your rope wrench yet mate? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Really liking this harness not going to say much about it at the minute ill wait till Friday night and do a full weekly review but has to be by far the most Comfiest harness I've ever worn, now I've fount the perfect position on the leg loop adjustment it's taken all the ball crushing away as they sit lovely on the back of the thighs, really love the adjustable sliding D. You can also move the side D's in closer if you want but there perfect for me as they are and sat on spikes lanyard on is very very comfy. Still the only enjoying thing is the leg loop Velcro things but we will see how that plays. Still a solid 8/10 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Haaaa! No worries mate, well that looks like the first five sorted for charity then good stuff lads thanks 👍 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. Thanks Nathen really glad you like them the new look in total black looks great I think I'm not sure about if I can get different colours in this new stuff but ill try. Scott I think postage will be a couple of quid or something but ill let everyone know when I get one weighed I'm sure it won't be much. Sam that's fine just let me know when you want one 😊 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Cool thanks James, like stated though it won't be until after April mate👍 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Awesome are there limit stocks or will there be plenty? I'm really interested and will buy one Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. After this last few rec climbs and having tried out other SRT friction devices I don't think I will ever use another one in the same production manner as I do the rope wrench, for me it really is the best device on the market, I love the fact that it has no flaws what so ever, I may purchase other devices but the rope wrench will always be my no1 Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. Thanks guys, once I start getting a few orders ill let everyone know how to make payments and stuff. I love the pinto but like you say Kevin it is wide and other pulleys that are similar but thinner may be better, I was just playing on the fact I don't have any other pulley that would work like that yet! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. I don't think there's nothing wrong with using it with a RW but I wouldnt keen myself using it SRT, I just think a hitch is just as good and can't see it benefiting my climbing anymore than a £25 piece of hitch cord Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. I had a little blast on joes at Hatfield also, I will say its very nice lovely and smooth and smaller in the flesh than I imagined, I did only have a go in Drt mode but I can see why you all rave on about them, in my eyes though the smoothness of them is a weak point I don't think it would take much for something to touch the top and get caught up and send you huddling down a few feet, I might be wrong, if I was still climbing Drt then yes defiantly I would buy one but from an SRT point of few no ill stick to my hitch Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk Mobile App
