  1. Yes you might be right on the quickness but the Prussic will hold on each leg when attached to the ring, there for if anything was to happen to one of them then the other would still hold!! Unfortunately not possible with a Blake's hitch mate
  2. Putting the rope through the ring takes the time??? Now I'm completely baffled!! Haaaa! Please explain?? I dare say your method is quicker, but I'm afraid mine is more desirable 😜 Making mine a winner!!
  3. Stunning beech from where I was working today And started a reduction on a poorly beech late this afternoon. The limb that came of had uncovered a little history
  4. Kind of messed this one up slightly!!!
  5. Complicated??? Oh my days!!! Are you having a giraffe? Time consuming?? It's takes 2 minutes to setup lol. the benefit of the multi sling is its a completely closed system, with 2 back ups if you included the tail end going back through the ring, and the alpine butterfly. In my eyes you could work that for and unlimited amount of time and not worry about it at all.. now I'm not saying that the Mallon would open but maybe just maybe!!!
  6. That's it mate you've got it, thread ring through, run rope round stem, pull as much slack through as desired then tie 6 wrap Prussic, then the tail of the multi sling run back through the ring and tie a fisherman's/scaffold knot, then alpine butterfly and bina as a back up. I'll try and get a little video together of me tying it buddy
  7. Quality photo mate exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for Love the silhouette of the climber 👍
  8. My adjustable and retrievable top tie not an original method so can't take any credit there but well worth a recap of it
  9. Hahaaaaaa! It is good I'll give him that!! But is it original?? Great photos Drew Love the speed line shot Marc 👍 Good start guys keep them coming, there's no limits to posts just keep them this years
  10. Haaa!! John is that a vertical speed line? That's a cracking start
  11. Ok I know Clark's did a great comp a couple years back with some awesome prizes which had some cracking photos in the thread! This one hasn't got the prizes like that but what I have got is a second copy of the Art and Science of practical rigging book. Now the rules... The photo must be rigging related and your own! Taken from the 1st of January this year, if you have any already then post away, you also have till the 31st of December (this month ) to get some new shots!! Now I'm not looking for typical go big or go home pictures ( but there welcome as contenders) I'm looking for something original something that stands out from the rest as there's only one winner!! Every one is involved except me!! So get snapping guys and girls Stay safe, and good luck Adam
  12. Where there to climb mate so won't be doing anything massive if there is anything tall and worth a measure then some of us will have long ropes for everyone to have a climb up

  19. Thanks Tom iMovie app on iPhone is quite limited but if you spend a little time you can make things work.
  20. It's all down to personnel preference at the end if the day mate, are they the only ones you have tried? If it's possible at all try a few other makes, hard to do I know. There's lots if decent spikes on the market but what your comfy in and what we tell you to buy won't work I'm afraid hope this helps..
  21. Cheers mate, thanks for the photos, they made it in my eyes..
