  1. why are people saying the last thread got closed because its still working my end??????? as for Dadio i'm sure he is a good arborist a bit OTT, i do agree with skyhuck from his original post in the original thread though....... he does show boat for the camera and asking customers if they want to roll the dice with him WTF!, just a hedge or not i know what my customers would say........well they would not say as i would not have any????? I'm sure his conclusion of his research will be appreciated buy some......! i'll be looking out for the pop up book addition......

  9. This Was the first for me on friday, Had a local job booked in for last friday for about 3 weeks, when i turn up on site we go through everything we discussed on the written quote, then she asks me to have a look at a contract she had written up her self????.... so i read through the contract which most of it was from my quote then there was another piece stating if majestic tree care was to damage anything then we were to go through the necessary channels of insurance so on and so on... then at the bottom the was a personnel accident piece on the customer will not except any responsibility to any thing happening to me or my crew whilst on the job...... i felt there was no harm in signing so went ahead, after 13 years this from memory has to be the first.has anyone else had similar dealings or had this customer been bitten buy other tradesman to many times.????

  13. I heard you have been watching to much Dadio videos...... nice fell .....2ft either side??? my ass would of been winking....
  14. Yes mate it advances the hitch up for you if pulled from underneath your system......slack tending any size rope is ok but i find an 11mm/11.5mm rope the 8mm double spliced eyes are better but anything like 12mm/13mm then 10mm hitch cord is fine.
  15. i'm climbing on 2 systems, lockjack accompanied buy 50m of new england tachyon, with custom RG made buy arbtalks old snake and for the pulley i use a DMM Pinto, then 45m marlow aries with HC/on VT with Art RG, then for a redirect i like being flexible some times the M method or an isc double pulley, or old school natural crotch with the end of my line with prussik/blakes or i do sometimes set up a micro pulley with either distel/VT/klemhiest.........ect... i take my hat of to anyone who still climbs on a basic prussik....... but at the same time i'm thinking .......PLONKERS !!! Just jesting........ i grew up in the arb industry were things was on the change from 3 strand rope to modern day rope, after watching my old man struggle with the crap they used to use...... all i can say is thank god for EVOLUTION .....
  16. Thinking of getting a 390xp as my next purchase, could those who have used one or own one, please come forward and enlighten me or burst my bubble about this saw i'm on the verge of buying........ Thanks, Adam
