  13. some guys fell up here for £12 per tonne to the road there lots people in the woods around here working so then that hits the arb price more as they will do it too

  22. welcome to arb talk greenhead carpentry it is near imposible to say with out knowing anthing about the plantation and carring out some measurments and anyway you would then only know the volume in of the stand but has a denicty of 380 - 450 kg/ m3 at a moisture conttent of 15% but when freshly fell it about 920kg /m3 also what products you are wanting to obtain as if you brash harvest as well it can increas a lot too. to find the volume you will need to know the dbh and high of the tree volume of an indeval tree = hight X basal area x form factor the basal area is the cross sectional area were the dbh was measured caculati 1/4 X pie X dbh squared the form factor is the to take it the taper of the tree i would use 0.4 ps this is a rough estimate use sample plots of know area (but keep a way from the edge of the wood) as stated above in worcswuss but note this is a rough estamate
  23. this was my first time out as i have just started, the most expensive widgion i have shot but it is most defenlly not easy it, and it is very dangerous i think i am the only one who actavily dose it in NI but i am still learnig, ps the boat is probaly over 100 years old but there is something specile when you get you grandfather old jumpers out that he used too
  24. well i just started doing the most dangerous form of shooting in the uk punt gunning its good fun but not cheep at over £20 a shot
